Hello all,

I was recently placed in charge of a new F&B outlet in Butterworth and I am looking for a freelance graphic designer to help design all our current and future F&B projects for my restaurant. All though we are based here, everything will be done online.

We're currently focused on Nyonya food, but have also an extensive menu of Malaysian delights, and western dishes as well.

We plan to frequently change or add new food menus in order to continue attracting new customers. We also plan to run promotions on a monthly or bi-monthly basis and use banners to promote it , which means there will be a steady stream of work.

Right off the bat, we will have to work on the following ASAP:
• Restaurant logo
• 2 x Additional Menus (main menu has been completed)

Role: Graphic Designer

Remuneration: Individual project basis. We will both agree on a price before beginning any project.

Requirements:
• All skills & programs any respectable graphic designer should have
• Chinese language as menus and banners will have to be dual language

Urut Lady Recommendations

Am looking for a malay urut lady here in Penang to come to my house for urut during my confinement month, i live in Bayan Baru, near PISA.

WTH Amah / Maid in Bayan Baru, Penang

Hi all,

Decided to try and post here also just in case you know someone.

Job: Amah / Maid

Duties:
1. Follow wife to wet market (less than 10 minute walk from condo), and help carry stuff
2. Clean/Wash vegetables/meat for lunch
3. Clean up condo (3 bedroom 2 baths), less than 100 square meters condo. Sweep/mop floor, wipe table...etc

Requirements:
1. Must be able to speak Mandarin
2. Chinese if possible, because usually got cook pork at home
3. Personal hygiene is important
4. Patience

Optional: If amah can cook good chinese food, even better! but NOT required.

Notes:
1. Doesn't have to come everyday. Maybe 3 times a week, for example: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
2. Sadly cannot live-in together with us (for now at least)
3. Only 2 people: me and my wife
4. We have NO pets

D'Piazza Condo, Bayan Baru, Penang (near Pantai Hospital)

Remuneration:
Depending on how many days amah can come per week. Can discuss over the phone. We are reasonable people.

Long story:
My wife needs help around the house as she is pregnant, and with me at work all day, I need someone help her out. FYI - I have already booked a confinement lady, so amah DOESN'T have to worry about it.

My wife can only speak Mandarin, so amah needs to be able to converse in Mandarin well.

We are both very clean people, so to be frank apartment isn't dirty at all.

A typical day would be like follows:
1. Amah arrives around 8am or 9am
2. Follows my wife to wet market (less than 10 minute walk) to buy food and help carry back to condo (we have a trolley to help)
3. Helps wash vegetables/meat to prepare for lunch, and maybe help cook rice
4. My wife will cook lunch
5. Amah and my wife have lunch together
6. Amah washes up dishes and cleans kitchen
7. Amah sweeps/mops the floor, wash bathroom, hang clothes out to dry, wipe table
8. Amah can go home.

Please, this is VERY VERY urgent. I very kesian my wife at home... and i really need someone fast.
