Recommendation between almera & attrage

Hi everyone in F&F subforum,

Can all the sifu’s here who owned/test drive both car below give your sincere opinion between them? I am considering either one as my first car (Jan 2014) but still can’t make up my mind which one to go for.

a) Mitsubishi attrage 1.2 (GS)
b) Nissan almera 1.5 (E)

I had test drive both car and my current car is a Myvi ezi 2007. Below I give my reason of why I choose both car and what I want.

What I am looking for:

1) Comfort and NVH – The road I am using is full of bumps/potholes/rocks/uneven road, everyday going to work, my Myzi is bouncing here and there and giving all sort of noise. As for NVH, so long there is less wind and outside noise it is good enough.
2) Power – Enough to go uphill and downhill every day with good speed since my house is up on a small mountain, also require good speed at highway with passengers & luggage.
3) FC – My driving condition is 70% rural + 30% city + once/twice highway every month.
4) Maintenance – less breakdown, cheap maintenance.

What I like in: Attrage
1) Good turning radius – 4.8m almost comparable to myvi 4.7m
2) FC – Heard next year revise petrol price again.
3) Gadget – For a quite similar price to Almera (71k vs [69k – 3.5k disc.]), Attrage got more gadget/stuff on the car which I am not listing here.
4) Exterior Look – In my opinion, both car looks great from front

What I scared/don’t like in: Attrage
1) CVT – Read many post from LYN and Cari forum. Some mention CVT is not that reliable and need to take good care and high cost if something wrong. Plus, the engine quite noisy too when I test drive it.
2) 1200 cc – From test drive, I feel that the performance is much similar to my 1300cc myvi although without the usual lag and sudden jerk when enter reverse or changing gear, but not so sure of its power/pickup speed when fully loaded with passenger and luggage while traveling highway.
3) Price – Feel that it is still quite expensive for such a car cc and no discount given.

What I like in: Almera
1) Comfort – very comfortable ride, feels even better than my dad grand livina.
2) NVH – decent NVH but didn’t manage to try during high speed since is test drive.
3) Maintenance/service/breakdown – should be better than Attrage since 4AT compare CVT, less issue?
4) Power – good pickup/speed enough for travel highway and to work.

What I scared/don’t like in: Almera
1) Basic car for E version, don’t have some basic items (such as trunk light) and some other need to purchase as optional accessories (such as side window light) but never mind these can be bought or install later.
2) Exterior look, front is good but just the original back side really ….speechless (can install bodykit later
3) Handling – heard a few mention ‘float’ and not stable after 110 km/h.

So can all the sifu's here give me your recommendation and reason and PLS refrain from introducing other models (vios/myvi/persona sv/city/jazz/preve/Korean/etc) Keep the discussion only limited to the above two, I am not interested in other models.

actually i should post in home-networking but dont know why it doesnt let me do so .
Anyway , my problem is i have a network of 5 coms link together where all 4 com will link to 1 main com before it is connected to internet , some sort like a star topology . i think i am having problem in doing port forward for my own com . i DO know how to do portforward and have already open a port in router and firewall for my own com . however i cant seem to get a remote when BC ing . i also try open port for router and firewall in the main com but still cant get remote in my own com . is there any solution other than change the way my com connect to internet because the main com thing is a must for my group.

Any info for this ip ?

I register streamyx just this year . i have gotten ip from 60.51 60.49 or 60.50 but i have never gotten a 218 ip before . i noticed the ip address didnt change much after testing connecting and disconnecting a lot of time . example : lets say 60.51.1.1 change to 60.51.1.2 .

Anyway what i want to ask is recently i get a special ip address which only can get at morning or at midnight . it start with 124.xx.xx.xx . this ip is very lousy , cant connect to international site , connect to many peer but never start to download , slow connect to lot of site . i want to know what ip is this ?

Weird case using aztech modem

Personal equipment
Modem: aztech dsl600eu
Router:
Firewall used: none

Problem details
First occurence of problem: not long after got streamyx
Problem frequency: depends when electricity is down
Problem description: i been getting this weird case of using streamyx . everytime when my house electricity gone off accidentally (TNB fault) even if it is only a short while for about few minute and that time my modem is on (connected to internet since i using autodialup) after electricity is restored my ppp connection will sure be gone and the only led is ethernet dsl and power . if this case happen i sure have to call tm 1300 and start bombarding them everyday and even so it need 2 days at least before i can get back my ppp connection . i tried using manual
connect but failed after my ppp is gone , repair connection , reset modem all dont work . i also tried leaving it a few days without calling tm and my ppp still wont recovered . i want to ask wats happening ? is it a modem fault or tm fault since each time after called tm then later it will recovered . it happens so frequently since my area electricity is not that good and therefore cant connect internet most time .
