My car was stolen about 10years ago and then been found. Since then I left Malaysia and only come back once a year for few days. Long story short the bank repossessed the car in 2006 and in 2011 they sent me a letter to ask me to pay the remaining Rm12.5k which I only get the letter recently because the letter was sent to my grandma's house. She's passed so I don't go back often. So question is.. Does this apply to the limitation law that the bank can't bankrupt me coz its been 10years and the amount is less thn 30k?
