Waterfall Survivors – a social group on Facebook, the most popular social online network, will be organizing a clean up campaign and a Eco Awareness Talk at Kanching Waterfalls in Rawang, Selangor.

We have selected this event venue and date to commemorate Sir Gerald Templer’s contributions to our country and the dire need to preserve the cleanliness of this waterfall to revive its identity as an enjoyable and well-known place of interest. This event will also mark Waterfall Survivors' achievements in exploring numerous waterfalls in Malaysia and your effort in eco-awareness and advocacy for community and corporate/personal social responsibility.

The event is aimed to create awareness among the public on the importance of preserving our natural heritage for our children. The SOW campaign will be the group’s main public event, which will be held at any other waterfalls in the country.

To add value to this campaign, we are also taking part in the International Day of Climate Action which is to create awareness on the Global Warming. Check out http://www.350.org

Besides cleaning up target to collect 350 bottles and form a 350 to Support this Cause.

Waterfall Survivors, a social group founded on Facebook, the most popular social online network, will be organising a gotong-royong campaign at Kanching Waterfalls in Rawang, Selangor. The campaign details are as follow :

Kanching Waterfalls is very beautiful in every way and from every angle, especially with its magnificent falling cascades. This waterfall has been rated as a premier waterfall in Selangor with seven breathtaking falls, for those who have visited Kanching waterfalls will agree.

However, the condition at Kanching Falls have depleted to an extend which has become unbearable to Waterfall Survivor's standard. As to this, Waterfall Survivors shall be the first to initiate a "cleaning up campaign' to Kanching and hopefully will be able to restore to it's prime glory.

The seven-tier Kanching Waterfalls is rated as one of Selangor’s premier waterfalls and it has been a favourite hang-out for locals, especially during weekends and public holidays. For the sake of preserving our natural heritage for our children, we wish to invite you to join us for this clean-up campaign.

We really hope that you will take this opportunity to Give Back to the Environment by lending us a helping hand in making this event a success.

Hi all,

I am interested to purchase one unit of Finepix F20 from a few lyn.net member but unfortunately due to unseen circumstances, they are not able to bring in the product. Reasons: Out of stock. As I am a budget concise kind of person, I understand that lyn.net members are able to bring in the product for less than RM650 or so. And I did some homework/research on the product and I must say that I fell in love with its Super CCD low light shot.

It produces some of the best low light picture quality of all time compare to most major competitor. But now, I linger here in sadness because after all the research and asking around, it seems that my dreams slowly fades away. As most of the photo studio I inquire either have no stock or price=RM1200??? .That price is equivalent to a brand new F31FD with face detection technology.

I guess that F20 is really no more in the production already, therefore I would like ask you The Sifu opinion on what comes close or on par with my dream camera the F20. And if you DO come across anyone or anywhere that sells the F20 at RM650 or so, please send me a PM .
