Window VISTA Home Basics AND apache 2.2.14/PHP5.2

my fello Forumers,

recently i m doing a reserach & testing on this method,

i got two window machine 1. is running vista business, 2, running vista home basic.
meanwhile i m triyng to installed Apache 2.2.14 and PHP 5.2 on both the window vista editions, however i encounter that some minor issue on the window vista home basics

at first i installed apache 2.2.14 without PHP configuration on httpd.conf it able to run perfectly, once when i configure the conf file with
LoadModule PHP5 module "c:/php/php5apache2_2.dll" it cause apache fail to startup and hangs, however i try this on vista business on the same method it work perfectly...

is there anyone tried this before installing apache 2.2.14 and configured php compatible on window vista home basics?

i try on EasyPHP the bundle package for user to setup PHP/MYSQL/MySqlAdmin/Apache wihout hassle to configure manually, it still return the same error on the window vista home basics, apache server unable to start.

are this the issue that window vista home basics totally not support on the HTTPD.conf with the loaded php 5 module? or anyone got some workaround on this issue and can be share over here who is working on it?

beside this i found out that vista home basics support IIS features, however it does not support the configuration features for users to do modification on the platform, probably IIS will be out of my mind if i m planning to host php web on the window vista home basics hosting it locally

apache is the most widely use webserver platform, to support php, even now is not working on vista home basics, not even IIS on window vista HomeBasics.

Advanced PHP and MYSQL

hi my fello lowyat forumers! currently i m developing my final year project with PHP and mysql. during the develoment i meet a poblem is actually quit difficult to solve as for my program. i hope some of php and mysql pro can give some comment and help here.

the problemis like this.

mysql part
- i have two table one is to store all the user details call usertable OID_2 is the primary key for usertable to hold user ID in this table
- second table call project table where use to store all the project details whcih also has one OID_2 as the primary key to hold the project id.
- the third table is a actully a foreign key table where consist of the projectID and the userID from the both to indentify which project belongs to the particular user (e.g project id 1, 2, 3, 4, belong to userid 1 || than project id 2, 3, belong to user id 2).

than for the PHP part
- at first i select the mysql query fro the userID from the foriegn key table where userid match with the sessionuser ID previsouly pass from the login page. than from here it return all the result i want
the answer = it will select all the projectID in the foriegn key table where belong to this current login user (let said user no 1 login, than all the projecID belong to user no 1 will be selected and display accordingly) HERE I USE A LOOP.

- from here i need to use the projectID display displayed to query the project TITLE in project table.

the real problem is
when i retrieve the projectid from the foriegn key table with the loop process it will return me the entire thing as a COUNTER value, let said i got 1, 2, 3, 4 projec ID belong to this particular user than the resutl return is = 4

if i use the counter value to query in project table and retrieve TITLE it will only retreive project title no 4

how to solve this if i want to retireve them individiaully one by one or row b row everytime the system read a single line before it pass to next row. and return a result.

HELP!............Network driver INF cannot install

Hi all my fellow lowyat buddies out there! i just encounter this problem. i had a Aztech ADSL router modem with the model Name DSL600EU, previously it work fine for my PC with the USB connection, because my Ethernet spoiled because due to lighting strike so i turn to use the USB connection.....but until yesterday i switch the modem to my laptop and try to connect using my laptop with the usb connection..it work fine at first. after i just finished configure the laptop network setting for this modem i try to change it back to y PC.

NOW the problem comes, it couldn't detect my MODEM, so i try to install the latest driver for the modem....it showed me the driver cannot install because the INF is invalid, so i try to install the latest version from the Aztech official website. problem are still remain the same after i did everything.

Approach i tried
1. Devices Manager: uninstall the modem connection, use the ADD/Remove devices detect the modem again and try to install the the modem with pointing to the latest driver directory
result: Fails still remain the same [cannot install driver because invalid INF]

2. Device Manager: uninstall all the USB Driver and install all over again!
result: Fails still remain the same [cannot install driver because invalid INF], the funny thing is other USB device such as my mouse and the printer are able to installed, only the modem cannot install..

does anyone experience before this type of cases need HELP here!
