FTX KYC Status On Hold.

FTX KYC Status On Hold. FTX requested new documents supporting claim amount to process KYC submission.

Hello all,

I sent 3 bank statements to the FTX support centre for KYC but got an email from them, It stated below:

@@@

Thank you for providing additional documentation. At this time additional documents are still needed for the KYC verification process. Source of Funds documents must support your claim amount when converted to USD. The documents that you have submitted do not support your claim amount.

Source of Funds: Please provide one of the following from the list below with all pages. We can not accept credit card statements.

3 Bank statements issued for the past 3 months - balance must support claim amount in USD

3 salary or income slips issued within the past 6 months

Last filed income tax statement (2022)

@@@

I can only provide bank statements as I haven't had work for some time. However, it stated that the bank statements' balance must support the claim amount in USD. it doesn't make sense at all. I emailed them and asked why the balance must support the claim amount in USD but they haven't replied to me.

Does anyone have the same experience? I don't have the balance to support the claim amount in USD. What should I do?

Huobi ordered to stopped operation in Malaysia!

The Securities Commission (SC) of Malaysia ordered Huobi Global to stop its operations in the country as it had been operating its crypto exchange without registration.
The Malaysian SC said Huobi must disable its website and mobile apps in the country as well as cease any advertisements to Malaysian investors.
The SC urged Huobi's Malaysian users to withdraw all their investments from the platform and close their accounts.

A lot of Malaysians use Huobi, especially P2P. Are you closing the account?

Without Houbi, which exchanges to use for buying crypto or P2P?

Best way to store ledger nano 24 words

Hi all,

I would like to share how I store my ledger nano 24 words seed phrase. Please let me know if there is any flaw in my method. Also please share your ways of keeping your 24 words safe so everyone can gain some knowledge on keeping crypto safe.

I wrote them on a microsoft word on my laptop and put the microsoft word in three encrypted USB sticks. Then I keep three USB sticks in three separate locations. In a safe, car, and somewhere in my house. Even if someone has the encrypted USB stick they still won't be able to open it as it's password protected.

The only thing that worried me a bit is when writing on the microsoft word on my laptop. Will the laptop memorizes the microsoft word and keep it somewhere in my laptop that I don't know of? Thanks, guys.

Hello,

I'm a Malaysian. I live and work in Australia now. I use Malaysian bank account to trade crypto. Since I'm not living in Malaysia. So do I need to pay tax? I heard that if you are not staying in Malaysia for more than 182 days, you don't need to pay tax. Is it for foreigner or Malaysian?
