Hello,
I need a quick recommendation now cuz gonna go to LYP at 12pm today. Currently been using HD4850 for quite some time and now I'm thinking of upgrading to a new one.
Budget is Rm500. Should I go for HD7770 or HD6850 or something else?

System RAM: 5119 MB
CPU Name: AMD Phenom™ II X3 710 Processor
Video Card Description: ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series
Power Supply: Acbel 450w

So I have been using Belkin Surge Protector for a couple of years now for my PC till Friday night where DISASTER STRUCK!

I was lucky nothing exploded
So afterwards I just clean it up by spraying it with water and I was thinking of submerge it in tap water to make sure every bit of milo is out.
I read that some electrical devices can be use again after being wash with water
by leaving it in a car on a hot sunny day for a couple of day to make sure all them water are vaporize.

So my question is, will it also work with the surge protector?
Will it be safe for me to use it again both in term of normal usage and as a surge protector?

16:10 LCD

Hellow,
My current Samsung LCD is probably dead.
So I would like to ask for some suggestion on LCD as per topic.
Budget around RM400 but willing to push max RM500
Must be 16:10 ratio and reso just either native 1440×900 / 1680×1050 only.
19xx*1xxx is a no2 for me. So does going HD(16:9).
Screen size is 19inch & above la kot.

If there is none from what I prefer, I will probably be forced to buy this

upgrading cpu

Hello,
Currently using x3 720 am2 & ATI 4850(i think) with biostar ta780g m2+.
I've been thinking of upgrading to am3 which biostar webby said that it can(waiting for reply from e-support).
Will I see a significant increase in performance if I change to X4 955 BE?
Or maybe I should just change the GC to ATI 6xxx series?
My budget is just rm400.

just got a call from someone claiming that he is from cimb selling cimb insurance takaful sumtin.
at the end of his explanation he asked for my add whereby i asked him back shouldnt cimb already have my add.
and he said he is from marketing so he only got my name and phone number.
so i sense sumtin kinda fishy and i just asked him to email the detail to me.

the thing is, the offer is cheap rm25/month for a lot of coverage.
limited time & offered to selected cimb user only.
and they dont have my home add.

is this a scam? shouldnt he already have my add if he is really from cimb?

c: suddenly low storage

my mom have told me b4 that the c: partition suddenly getting larger without installing any prog
even after deleting some files or prog, it still the same

i just formated the pc and having the same prob.
the partition is only 10gb
after installing win and sum small prog, there are about 5gb left
and after installing ms2007 & while dlding a game client to the desktop(900mb), the pc become very sluggish.
i mean veeeery
how to solve this?

btw, i have found this 2 large file on c: partition, can any1 identify wat is this actually?

im going to be at my mom house till saturday only, coz havta go back to ipoh

can any1 help me?
i need to validate whether user have choose the file to upload or not.
