Asrock Z68 + Intel 3570K

Hi all, i just RMA my motherboard + processor, due to no stock, the supplier offered me 3570K with some top up. Facing some problem now, my old motherboard Asrock Z68 extreme 4 could not boot up with this processor(3570K).

1.The board has been updated to newest firmware which can support IVY Bridge processor.
2.The motherboard can boot up Intel 3470(Ivy bridge) without issue.
3.The processor can boot up with another board.
4. 3570k is 1 of the supported CPU under this motherboard(http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?cat=CPU&Model=Z68%20Extreme4)

Any suggestion/advice from you will be appreciated, any forumer is using the same spec like me? Tks

Re-install window 7

Hi all, i plan to move my harddisk to my new pc, however, there was a partition D inside there and keep all my data files.

I will keep the partition D and re-format partition C and install a fresh copy of window 7.

From my experience, the problem is once u have a partition exist, when u creating a new partition on window 7 installation page, the system reserved partition wont be created.

Without the system reserved partition the window 7 sure cant boot up.

Any way to create the system reserved partition when a partition is there?

or can i use back the old system reserved partition on my fresh window?
Fyi, my old 1 is using 32 bit, new 1 will be 64 bit window 7.

i jus own a silverstone st56f, tis psu come with 8pin motherboard adapter, but my old motherboard jus need a 4 pin motherboard adapter.

1st question: is tat any converter like, 8 pin -> 4 pin or 4 pin molex -> 4 pin motherboard adapter.

2nd question: my motherboard is 24pin, if i dont plug tis 4 pin motherboard adapter, is there any problem?

3rd question: if got such converter as i mention at Q1, any online trader got sell it?

any answer will be appreciated.
