Hello!

May I know if anyone here knows of a good quality electrical engineering company that can do a full home DB upgrade, electrical systems safety check & earth leakage testing here in Klang Valley?

I am trying to find online and most of them seem to be unregistered foreigners, or locals who are good at editing but workmanship looks questionable.

Any tips on this? I don't mind contractor too, just something with good reviews.

Maxis silent calls

Hey guys, anybody notice that if you make calls in a relatively fast pace, like redialling a number that is going to voicemail, the 4th or 5th call will have no dial tone or voice from the other side.

When this happens the timer still goes off and the other end can still hang up or decline.

I first saw this issue in December but Maxis said it was as issue with iOS 13 and not Maxis. But they issue has come back.

Anyone else facing this silent call issue ??

Maxis Network issues and throttling.

Hey guys, recently I’ve noticed when using my mobile data, even with full 4G my phone drops down to 3G and refuses to go back to 4G. On android devices at my home I notice it goes to no service and comes back to 4G.

Also today I noticed speeds for YouTube are being capped at 1.5mbps. I’m on maxis one prime and I’ve only used about 700mb this month as I only use it when my WiFi is buggy.

Internet is blazing for everything except YouTube and Netflix.

Anyone else experiencing this too?

Maxis calls going to voicemail

Hey guys, anyone experiencing an increase in call dropping or failure to start call on Maxis?

Some of my calls now go straight to voicemail and i'll just get a missed call notification

When it happened today, I had 2 bars of 4G signal, and when i got the sms and called them back, I had full 3G coverage so it can't be a fallback issue... Or could it ?

Do you guys have any advice? My second DiGi line even with 1 bar of 4G can make clear volte calls and switches to 3G and back seamlessly if needed.

Maxis Latency and Facebook issue

Hey guys, are any of ya'll having trouble accessing Facebook or Instagram on Maxis 4G?

I have only been having problems randomly with those two apps until yesterday when i discovered that my Speedtest refused to run. I then downloaded nPerf and the issue was still present and my ping measurements were timing out. There was also a high rate of packet loss to google and high jitter (above 2 seconds)

I've tried this on many maxis devices of my friends and some of them have issues and some don't, it's so random and confusing.

Do you guys have any idea whats happening ? I'm so lost and sick with reporting to Maxis everyday.

Could this be an iPhone issue? I'm using an 11 Pro Max btw

Hey guys, are any of ya'll experiencing network issues on Maxis?

I live in the Klang Valley area and my phone is constantly switching between 3G and 4G, even when i'm sitting in one place with good 4G it switches to 3G and takes a long time to go back to 4G.

When I complain to Maxis they either say it's an iPhone issue or that my area has bad coverage.

The thing is, I am not the only one having this issue, I know android users with this problem too, and I recently changed phone just to be sure.

It all started in June this year

Any advice is welcome, i'm waiting for my contract to be over to switch over to Digi. Hopefully Maxis's network will be better after the implementation of VoLTE but i highly doubt it.

OTP not being delivered

Hey guys need some help, i'm a Maxis user and I recently am not able to receive two factor authentication codes from certain websites.

Instagram and Playstation don't work at all, Facebook is sporadic, when i requested code they sent me an sms to register for fb2mobile as I have one unread message. Grab also doesn't work when i want to verify a grab pay transaction online

I called maxis and they told me the usual reset phone and network settings but nothing is working,

My mom also can't login to her instagram as she is unable to receive the codes. We are in the same family plan, she's an android and i'm using iphone.

Maxis was no help so i'm asking the sifus here , if anyone can try request for instagram two factor authentication code and get back to me if it works?
