I open a new maybank account last month, I did not apply any insurance plan. Today Maybank call me saying my account insufficient balance to deduct. WTF. Then they say i applied Premier Value Savers at monthly RM100. They already deducted my balance since last month. How can I stop the insurance and take back my RM100? I did not ask the phone because I suspect is fake call, who know really deducted.

Car Battery dies at 12V

I have a NS40 maintenance free battery, I did not know it is maintenance free because the label was peeled until I google the battery model. It was Century Marathon. Anyways, I added distilled water into the battery was thinking to extend the battery,who knows the battery dies after a week , I jump start it and my car can run for few days and it dies again.

I am uncertain the battery life.

Measured at 12V with alarm,radio those hooked on, drop to 10V when crank with clicking sound then slowly back to 12V?????, lights radio all fine...Is the battery problem or starter problem? :pinch:

Please tell me what have I done to the battery?! If buy new battery what to do with the healthy yet unusable 12V battery?

My friend car small light on overnight, I tested the car battery voltage left 4V, now not sure to buy a new battery or jump start it continue to use. The battery is Yokomama, NS60, 1 year dry cells. Will the battery continue to work if let the alternator charge it or replace it. Thanks

Hello computer sifu, last week while browsing my folder, the hdd suddenly stop itself and cannot use the hdd anymore. The hard drive started to produce slow and audible clicking noise. Windows still recognize the hdd but is being accessed all the time and keep loading in windows explorer. I have tried to boot using Linux Debian but unable to boot with error udevd [326]: timeout: killing '/sbin/ blkid -o udev -p /dev/sdc' , I have tried to mount it and ran a testdisk and photorec, testdisk show Warning: number of heads/cylinder mismatches 16 (NTFS) != 255 (HD) Warning: number of sectors per track mismatches 2 (NTFS) != 63 (HD)I also tried to directly use the sata connection but my UEFI can't boot at all. Windows check disk show CHKDSK is not available for RAW drive. I plan to buy another identical hard drive to as donor to replace this hard drive. Can anyone tell me it possible of fried circuit board or broken cylinder head? or any possible recovery secret recipe? using OSX? the hard drive bought March 2014 still have 2.5 years warranty from Seagate. The hard drive itself is Samsung brand.

Can an average Joe replace serpentine belt?

My serpentine belt squeak at low rpm and raining when water got inside. I do not have belt diagram and yet to discover where the tensioner to relieve the belt. I do have 3/8 and 1/4 ratchet. I heard people said change the belt is easier than change engine oil, also heard it is complicated and require to drop the engine to replace it.
Service experience: replace master cylinder, bleed oil, replace engine oil, replace coolant..need your opinion how easy to change a front wheel drive engine belt...car Proton Savvy

Tablet touch screen problem

As title, my Asus TF101 having touch screen problem long time ago and the problem still persist. The touch screen is not working and has to keep on/off button several times to off and on the screen get it working for a while. Since I flashed many custom roms and stock roms and tried many solutions found on forum but no avail. So I condemn is hardware problem. Now, I not sure to replace touch Screen Digitizer Glass or DIGITIZER TOUCHSCREEN CONTROLLER. I saw on eBay it costs around USD 30 for digitizer and USD 10 for the controller. Any forumer can shed light on which components is the culprit for the touch screen problem. Normally touch screen issue is related to digitizer or controller board

Gumout fuel cleaner

Let say a 7 years old car, I want to buy a bottle of Gumout fuel claner to clean my engine fuel system. I heard people say if pour into fuel tank it might pick up dirt/debris in the tank and clog the fuel injector. Is there other ways to pour the solution? Can I unplug brake vacuum hose and let it suck the solution in the intake manifold or pour into the throttle body?

Let say car out of warranty, better to change engine oil yourself or send to shop to change. I normally change at Rm 90 engine oil +RM 20 filter conventional oil Total brand

Which is cheaper?DIY? And where to buy engine oil and oil filter cheaper? Jusco? Petrol station? In Ampang where to find good car accessories shop? Not Brother's those kind

Change drive axle

Let say I want to change my drive axle, I saw some video when pry out the drive axle from transmission there is some oil coming out from the transmission. What oil is that? transmission oil for auto and gear oil for manual? if the transmission fluid is sealed for life then how to top up the fluid when replace drive axle?

Just interested to know, I dun have drive axle problem...

I am curious how often to get a valve adjustment? Is that necessary? or any indication/ signs of your engine that you need valves adjustment? loss power? engine noisy? Bad gas mileage? How much does it cost normally? Thanks

Auto car

My dad bought an used auto car, this is my first time driving auto but the car not feeling right...

Sometime when I engage D the car will move slowly forward, but sometime it not moving at all on flat road, the car feel no power when I step the gas...does auto car at D reverse at steep road? like 45 degree? my car will reverse when no gas was given...the car check engine oil light flicking sometime I step the gas harder/faster, is this normal?

ATF is pinkish, engine oil light brown but smelly, no leak, no overheat

Update 1: change engine oil and ATF no more engine oil light but car still feel loss power and loss creeping force
Update 2: I think the brake is sticky and drag the car, i wanted to spin the wheel freely to test which wheel having sticky brake. Now if I spin the wheel each side does another side spin too? in Neutral because when I brake the brake make noise, not indicator noise, like rubber rubbing or bicycle brake suddenly those kind of noise(tight brake)

Today I driving when car idle at 900-1000 ish RPM, the engine oil light flickering, the light is more obvious when I steer the wheel left and right and the engine vibrate slightly. I check the engine oil is overfill after the full line like 2cm. The engine oil is castrol last changed 10-April-2014 and still have 5.5k km to go. I guess is fully synthetic oil. Do i need to take the case seriously or let it go?

Naza Suria 2007 1.1 L Epsilon I4

Bought a used Naza Suria 2007, I record the car fuel millage and find out it has very bad MPG/ KPL. My Proton Savvy can get me ~530 km per full tank, 35 Liter. My Picanto only last me ~250km per full tank, 35 Liter. Any Naza Suria owner can tell me how this car full tank can go? If I not wrong, the car engine is also used in Hyundai Atos and Hyundai i10 and Hyundai Getz. It a 1086 displacement SOHC 4 Cylinder 3 valves per cylinder engine, 4 speed overdrive automatic transmission. My Savvy is Renault 1.2 SOHC 4 Cylinder 4 valves Manual Transmission. Naza Suria is ~800kg and Savvy weight ~900kg, in theory small engine and light chassis should have better fuel consumption? I reset my Suria ECU with no different.

Also, the car feels sluggish with pick up, whereas my Savvy feel more powerful.
