Cant detect two external harddisk

hi. i got two units of 1TB 2.5'' external harddisk. the problem is both harddisk can't detect at the same time in my computer. only 1 drive at one time. i think maybe because of the power. but how to solve it? i need to access both harddisk at same time to do file transfer. the worst option i have to transfer files to my laptop first, un-plug the first drive then plug the second drive then transfer back into it. this step time consuming. anyone can help?
