Maxis Fiber with ASUS Router

Guys, I have a problem with my ASUS AC88U router while configuring the zte USB modem.

The router firmware shows that the usb is recognized as a modem and I try to configure the dial up automatically/manually (login and apn details), both doesn’t seems to be correct.

The USB modem is blinking blue, I guess sim is activated. Any lead? My current fiber modem ™ is fried and waiting for TM to come. Maxis told me it will be 29th May (reported beginning of May)

Hi sifus,

I am confused where my Router is less than 1 year old and recently, my pc(wired) seems to disconnect from the router.

On PC, network shows connected but no internet. When check on the cmd ipconfig /all, it seems dhcp couldn't assign IP.
At the same time, I tried youtube using my HP which connected to the wifi.

So, there is internet going on but my PC disconnects.
I have uploaded my syslog from the router.

Anyone can help investigate if it is a hardware issue on the router's LAN port or it is configuration issue?
Anyway, i only configure WAN, turn on firewall with default setting. WTFast gaming network is assigned to my PC.

Noob question on DVI port

Dear Sifus / Pros,

Will DVI-D Dual Link compatible to DVI-Single Link?

I tried on my lenovo Docking 3.0. The 1st port was aright since using dual link.
The second one, i tried using dual link convertor (means Male dvi-d dual to Female vga), never detect.

I tried using dvi-d single cable to connect to lenovo monitor, it detects the monitor.

Problem is, i want to use samsung monitor, and the docking no have hdmi. I can only use vga.

Where to get DVI-D Single Link Male to VGA Female Adapter?

DHCP and IP Segment

Dear Sifus,

Would like to ask for your advise on the scenario below:

Currently in my office, we are using 20.0.0.0/24 but due to some previous hacking the AD servers, some of the functionality went kookoo and we cannot expand to 20.0.1.x or any other.

Now we have new AD servers (old ones still in place but we migrated all the users and servers to new domain). I am planning to de-comm the old AD servers soon.
Problem is, due to a lot of application, old and rusty, they cannot use DNS name for the servers, they use IP address. So I am thinking like that:

At new DNS server which has DHCP installed, I will configure 2 IP scope. 20.0.0.0/24 and 10.11.10.0/24
20 segment is for all the servers and equipment, 10 segment is purely for end users.

What do I need to do beside that? I heard I got to configure my core-swtich too.
Anyone can help?
