Laptop LCD Issue

Hello to all,

I have a Dell Inspiron 3421 laptop purchased via Dell website on Jan 2013. Recently the laptop LCD has started to have problem.

The screen has started to flicker, from normal to dim (greyish) & dim (greyish) to normal. So far everything is still visible on the screen but the colour are not so good when screen is dim. I have the following questions:

1) What is the issue here?

2) How easy is it to resolve it?

3) How much will it cost to get it repaired?

4) Is it better to buy an external LCD and connect it to the laptop? (laptop only has HDMI port so will need to buy a HDMI VGA converter)

Xpax vs Hotlink vs Umobile

Need suggestion from users. I'm currently on DiGi prepaid for past 3 years & currently paying RM3/week to use free WhatsApp.

So which other telco should I move to, to enjoy free basic internet. Xpax, Hotlink or Umobile? Xpax & Hotlink both have 500MB basic data limit and Umobile is giving 1GB free for life. So which one is better? Which one is better in terms of coverage & speed?

I live in Shah Alam Section 9 & travel to KL for work. So coverage & speed in Klang Valley.

Laptop Hard Disk Advice Needed

I have a 2 year & 8 month old early 2013 model Dell Inspiron 3421 14" laptop. The hard disk has recently crashed, it originally came with Samsung/Seagate 500Gb 5400 RPM hard disk.

Now I plan to replace it with Western Digital Scorpio Black 500Gb 7200 RPM.

I just want to confirm if the 7200 RPM hard disk will work fine in the laptop or not? Also how can I get the drivers that originally came pre-installed with the laptop?

WTA: Public Parking in Shah Alam

I live in Shah Alam and travel daily to Universiti Malaya via U80 bus. I would like to know if there is any monthly parking pass for parking at commercial areas? And where to get the pass from?

And also if anyone knows the charges for parking at the big parking space in front of PKNS building.
