Fixing laptop overheating problem

I'm using this Sony vaio laptop i7 processors about 3 years old but recently it's been shutting down while I'm playing games. I'm using the cooler master notepal infinite evo but it still shuts down. Sony authorized service centre said that it will take 2-3 days minimum "confirmed" even if it's just dust problem ... so I'm thinking of just doing it at lowyat/digital mall. Anyone has any place to recommend (in PJ/KL) that will do a <1 day job spraying compressed air/checking and hopefully won't screw my comp?

also, should I be testing for anything like heat sink/thermal paste or what not?? please advise
