hello peepz.

i am not fluent in insurance nor have i been in an accident to this degree before, so i humbly ask for opinions and experiences.

relative kena accident, tow to workshop.

front end accident, langgar benda, bukan kete lain.

first mistake, deal with those roadside tows instead of insu tow truck. but what's done is done.

relatively new car, <5 years x70. they tow to non-proton workshop. i thought should be tow to sc if quite <5 years.

now the workshop is saying the cost of repair is > the insured value. need to top up.

well ok but the amount need to top up is beyond my relative's financial means currently.

now they giving option, send to proton sc or repair with them. but if wanna retrieve your car, need to pay rm500. wowzers.

so my questions are:

1. since the amount to repair is > the insured, can't we go for total loss? the workshop seems not to be mentioning this option altogether.
2. do i deal with the insurance or the workshop now? not sure if just this workshop but insurance panels always seem kinda shady.

hows your e-invoice going? i hate this thing. already so busy have to do this lagi. such is life.

my firm have to switch accounting software just for this e-invoice cuz previous one charge exorbitant amount to add-on e-invoice.

kesian those that already start since the very beginning. so many twists and turns before the majority starts.

people say accountant will untung, but is actually all the software people who are untung-ing.

how long do you think before the govt uturn this implementation? last time learn gst busy busy then suddenly gone jugak.

bonus question to my top accountant mia acca ktards, have experience with other countries e-invoice solutions? how do they compare?

ISOFIX

Not sure if this is the correct section to post.

I am driving an older car, 2003 Camry. This car does not have ISOFIX mountings.

But the baby seats I see now mainly uses these mountings, so I don't think I can use them.

Are there any ways to retrofit the mountings or what other options do I have?

to people who have experience with DNGA and TNGA cars, is there actually a major difference between cars that are in the new platform vs the old?

like axia, is there a huge difference between the new and old one in ride? i have experience with neither, am curious to see if can actually tell the differences.

wanna look for real experiences instead of only reading reviews from journalists.

Dunno if this is the right place to ask this.

Situation: Applied two loans, new car A and used car B, both loans approved on the same day, different banks.
Question: Can sign and buy both at the same time? Will either banks discover (which I suspect they will) and reject the loan?

Salesman from A said ok, Salesman from B said better not take risk.

Any bankers or anyone more familiar with the banking process, can enlighten me? Thanks.

Repair crack + Repaint problems

Hi guys!

The other day I got involved in an accident where I cracked my cars bumper, so I went to a mudguard sifu to fix and repaint the area.

But after awhile, the area that got repaired will have a weird discoloration issue. I went back to the sifu twice, and he doesn't know what caused it.

Now it is coming back for the third time, and since going back to the sifu twice isn't helping, maybe time for other ways.

The images are the crack, and the discoloration issue.

Anyone has any experiences or knowledge about this? Please let me know, thanks!

Hi!

I am currently 24 years old working in the accounts industry.
I have been working here for 2 and a half years now.
A little background, before I worked, I dropped out of college because the course wasn't for me.
At first I was planning to work for a little while and get back to school, but suddenly 2 years flew by.
Now I have applied for school again in Real Estate Management, but is this the right move? By the time I graduate I would be 28+, looking for fresh graduate jobs.
I'm also considering just switching companies, but the highest qualification I have is SPM and Foundation. I sent quite a few resumes here and there and no response.

I am here for some consultation from people who have more experience at society than me.

Vaccine Appointment for my elders

Hi! I recently helped my grandfather to register for AZ, then due to some urgent matters we needed to cancel (In hindsight, no need to cancel due to FMCO).
After that, grandmother also showed interest in vaccination as well, so I helped her to register as my grandfather's dependant since she does not have or knows how to operate a phone.
She has now received her appointment, but my grandfather still only shows cancellation of AZ.

So my questions are:
1. Since GM is GF's dependant, does that mean both of them should go together even though GF's Mysejaterah does not show appointment?
2. Both of them are not fit enough to drive, so I planning on driving them both to the center in KLCC. Does the SOP permit 3 in a car in this situation?

Anyone familiar with the situation please enlighten me.

Hi! I am currently an (most probably underpaid) auditor. I have no higher education papers and realised that companies lowball people kawkaw like that.

I am now contemplating whether to go for part time courses or go for uni. I am currently 24. Personally thinking of the former decision but is it a good one? Or are there any other choices?

Laptop slow due to HDD?

Heya! Total computer noob here.

My (quite) new laptop feels kinda slow even though it's quite high-end in terms of processors.
I say this because I've seen my colleagues' laptop that has a (supposedly) slower processor feel way more snappier than mine.

Been thinking it may be due to my laptop still uses HDD while my colleagues' uses SSD. So I've been thinking about installing one.
Problem is though, HP says my laptop only has one 2.5'' slot which right now houses my 1TB HDD.

From here, do I clone everything to my SSD or are there other solutions?
If that's the only way, any recommended shops for that? Not really good at all this stuff.

Laptop LCD Pressure Mark Help

HI

Due to a careless mistake, I closed my laptop lid and I forgot I put something on the laptop.

Because of that, now my laptop has a pressure mark on the top left part of the screen.

Any advice on how to fix this?
