German scientists dug 50 meters down in the ground and discovered small pieces of copper.
After studying these pieces for a long time, Germany announced that the ancient Germans 25,000 years ago had a nation-wide telephone copper wire network.

The Russian government was not that easily impressed. They ordered their own scientists to dig even deeper. 100 meters down they found small pieces of glass.
They soon announced that 35,000 years ago, the ancient Russians already had a nationwide fiber optics network.

The Malaysian govt decided that they also Boleh. They dug 50 meters, found nothing. 100 meters also nothing.
200 meters underground, they still found absolutely nothing. They thought for a while, then happily announced that

Travelling alone to Japan

Hey there!

I'm going to Japan this coming December, date as mentioned in topic description. I booked the ticket already. Just my half way to backpack there. Okay I will land at Nagoya Chubu (NGO) Airport. And I really don't have book any accommodation yet, this is blindly a pure alone backpacking adventurous trip to Japan alone. And I'm doing this at 18 years old. So this is my first trip alone in winter overseas. Dear /ktards forumers, kindly help me answer my questions below.

1) I'm bringing around RM3000 - RM4000, to be safe lets assume I bring RM3000, what can I do around Nagoya for 16 days? This is really super budget trip, and I'm planning to use Couchsurfing, I'm a male. What can I do with it?

2) With budget mentioned above, can I take a bus or hitchhiking to Tokyo? Really want to see the world's megalopolis, and if possible, I wanna do Couchsurfing there too, or will take capsule hotel. And get back to Nagoya a few days before my flight back to KUL.

3) Food? Don't need fancy sushi, ramen stuff. Just enough to survive winter and keep me fit and healthy.

4) Medical needs for Malaysian people like me to survive in winter?

5) Yes, I really wanna bring my Nikon D90 DSLR there, and plan to bring my MacBook to communicate with Malaysia and do little on the spot post process. Should I?

6)Should I withdraw cash in Japan's ATM? The whole RM3000? or withdraw only when in need, but the foreign withdraw fees gonna kill me.
