I would like to enquire about the estimated quotation for the renovations of my condo. My budget is approximately abt 20k-25k, please PM me if my offered price is do-able.

Type of property: Condominium @ 5th floor
Location: Mont Kiara
Height: 8.7 ft
Built-up: 1,280sf

Demolish Works
1. To dismantle the existing floor, wall tiles, built-in furniture, air-cond, bath tub, WC, kitchen cabinet & cart away the rubbish

Flooring & Wall Works
2. To supply labour to install floor tiles for area FF1 & FF2 (tiles provided by me)
3. To supply labour to install wall tiles for 2 bathrooms (tiles provided by me)
4. To supply labour to install wall tiles for kitchen – 1 side of wall with width of 2,655mm (tiles provided by me)
5. To supply labour and lay cement for area FF3 ready to receive laminated flooring (Robina flooring 8mm thick provided by me)

Quotation Advises Needed

Hi,

I just bought a 119.17sqm condo at Mont Kiara and planning to start a renovation in Dec'16 because wish to move in before CNY if possible.

I need advises on the budget required for below renovations for the unit:-

1) Dismantle and remove all cabinets (1 cabinet @ living hall, 1 cabinet in each room & 1 kitchen cabinet) in the house & dispose off the rubbish.

2) Dismantle the bathtub & WC for both toilets

3) Water proofing & installation of new WC sets (labour charge only)

4) Dismantle and remove all the existing tiles

5) Skim coat and paint the whole house (labour charge only)

6) Installation of tiles at living hall, toilets & kitchen area (labour charge only)

7) Installation of Robina flooring at 3 rooms (labour charge only)

8) Installation/extension of power points (labour charge only) - to be confirmed

9) Dismantle of old air-conds & installation of total 4 units airconds

I checked with management office earlier, they only allowed to conduct the wet works renovation between 10am-12pm & 1pm-3pm.

I would like to find out what are the estimated budget required for the above requests? Possible to be done within 20k-25k? If anyone of you have good workmanship contractor who able to cover the above works, please PM to me, really appreciate a lot

Wall Painting

Hi,

I just bought a 1,280sf condominium, it is headache to see the original wall painting surface is not smooth.

May I seek the advise on how to get rid of the original painting on the wall and I would like to repaint with smooth painting. Someone said need to do paint skimming and repaint the whole house would cost RM7k++ (include materials）. May I know is that reasonable?

Appreciate if someone can advise which brands of paints are good and cheap to use. It will be great if can provide me the shop name & ctc. Of coz, I also need the quotation as well.

Appreciate if anyone can give/share with me the opinions or costing of renovating the bathroom (2 units). I need to know the estimate cost:-

1.) Demolish existing tiles (floor and wall) and construct new cement layer
2.) Water proofing
3.) Dismantle existing WC, bath tub, water closet & basin
4.) Lay new tiles (1x2) inclusive sand, cement, latex admixture etc
