Parents or students I need y'all now

Hey guys, so recently I just gotten myself a job at Starbucks as a barista to earn some cash while I wait till next year for my degree. Reason why I didn't continue straight to degree right after foundation was because well, dad is facing bad times in business and he isn't capable of giving me enough allowance for me to survive in a week especially when I'm studying at HELP.

Long story short, suffered a lot during the last few months of foundation by having to ikat perut, park my car in illegal areas, accumulating parking fines left and right as a result, resorting to asking money from my other relatives ( which I despise greatly ) and sometimes having to ask my friends to spare me some cash for the train ride back home..

So when I got the job as a barista I was told by my manager that Statbucks does well to accomodate students by letting part timers complete the mandatory 64 hours in a month, earning me around 380-400 in a month which is more than enough for me to cover my expenses and not burden my dad more than I should.

Problem is, my mother is very very much against me having a part time job especially when I'm studying, she tells me that I'm gonna flunk in my studies and what not. Personally I don't see what's the fuss considering I spend more time focusing on studies rather than work since work is only on the weekends ( where I spend only 8 hours a day ) I understand that she doesn't like to see his son having to work his a$$ off for money, but she doesn't want to admit that sadly, the family is facing bad times and everybody has to sacrifice something in the end..I feel really bad even writing about this because I didn't even tell her of the problems I'm facing when I was in college as to not make her worried and potentially make my dad feel even worst. I love my mother to bits, but she needs to understand that times are hard and rather than I complain I might as well do something about it..what do you all thing? Is there a way for me to convince my mom?

PS; Sorry for posting this if its in the wrong thread cause I need help from parents who've actually faced this before

Stage 1,2,3 tuning

Hey guys, I was just hanging out with my friend the other day at the mamak and he was going on about how his brother's EVO 7 was tuned to produce somewhere around 400hp/bhp!! And that's when he went on and told me about how there's like different stages to tuning.

My question is,

What's the differences between all these tuning stages? What side effects will they have towards the engine? How much does it cost to tune your car to these desired stages? Are all cars able to be tuned or are they completely dependent on the ecu of the car? MOST IMPORTANTLY, can our local cars be tuned too? Because I was fancying on upgrading my preve la like this hehe

Is it risky to buy a second hand motorcycle?

I was planning on getting a second hand Kawasaki KLX 150, but some of my friends argued that its better I buy a brand new KLX 150 due to, according to their experience that is, second hand bike selalu kena "lenjan". Didn't really believed it myself until one of my friends bought a second hand KLX 150 from Johor and its becoming a living hell for him. Problems with the engine block, oil leaks and such. He did got the bike off of mudah for around 4k (which is odd considering how second hand KLX 150's usually starts at around 5k) so he must've gotten a lemon, but how exactly true is it?

Thoughts?

INTI's or HELP's law degree?

I am currently in HELP University doing my foundation, for my degree I have firmly decided that I want to do Law, I was thinking of doing it in HELP but I have been wondering how good is INTI International University's one? The facilities over there at INTI are waaaaaaaaay better than what they have at HELP and I have been liking the idea of studying there and having a nice campus life Any thoughts on the matter?
