I havent been eating out since 2009 unless someone invite me and pay, but in 2009, Indomie used to be RM0.60 per pack get one free for each 5.

Then i did realise sometime in 2013, mamak was selling indomie for RM2 or RM3, of course this is daylight robbery

But now RM28 for an indomie pizza?

i swear indomie is still RM0.60 for 5 at shops. furthermore banyak perisa baru like that green one

1) Put money aside more as a % of income.

It does not matter if you earn RM10k a month or RM1 mil a month. If both of you put only 5% per year aside due to lifestyle choices, both of you will need 60 years to retire (ie: never). A goal every year is NOT to spend more, but to maximise happiness and increase savings rate.

2) Increase Happiness per unit dollar. Lots of people say money doesnt buy happiness. This is not true. Happiness is correlated to 1) Amount of money 2) Money per unit happiness. IE: efficiency.

If buying a RM4k phone gives 100% happiness, and a RM400 gives 98% happiness, then u may want to take the maximum happiness per unit dollar decision. Likewise, Starbucks may cost RM20 for 100% happiness. But nescafe may cost RM0.20 for 94% happiness. Always make these decisions on every dollar spent.

3) Marry the right partner with financial and values in-line with yours. This is pretty simple. If you marry a lifelong jobless gold digger just because your mum is a lifelong jobless parasite, then your gold gets digged.

4) Use roboadvisors and zero-trading fee apps to buy passive investments. I know lots of people here say buy Bcoins, top glove, banks, and other high risk high return investments. If you are playing the long game, just go passive and stop looking at your investment account. 10 years is a lot of time, and it will smoothen any crisis.

Just follow 1,2,3,4, regardless of your salary, you will have crazy passive income depending on your savings rate. Just as a rule of thumb, at 5% savings rate, you work for life. 10% savings rate, maybe 40-50 years. 20% savings rate, maybe 20-30years. 40% savings rate, 10-20 years, and >50% savings rate, <15 years.

I always found it hard to explain to a Malaysian that its not hard to retire early and be financially independent, and the time it takes to retire early or be financially has NOTHING to do with how much you earn, but with how many % you save

its like, everyone i know says u must earn more to retire faster, but in reality, this is not how it works (because earn more=spend more= % of spending stays the same = retirement time remains 60 years (ie: Never).

Before this, camera based self driving could only navigate, automatically get out of parking, automatically summon to a location.

For those who know autonomy, this is a BIG thing. Because you can basically use a computer, and camera, attach this to ANY device, and it can drive around with just camera's, a solution that costs less than USD1000, even USD100 if mass produced.

Additional functionality that self driving can do now:
- left and right turns
- roundabouts
- it recognises its "lane" in a laneless road
- it recognises left and right parked cars
- it recognises humans, bicycles, and their intentions
- does streets navigation (on top of highway)
- it actually acts like humans (moving abit after a stop sign to gauge left and right, before accellerating, etc)

Understandably, it was released at 3am, so not many day videos (most shot at night with low visitbility.)

Also, full self driving is here. Self driving now taking turns, avoiding cars at the side of the road, navigating in cities. I will continue to be monitor this development, but if the self driving beta is above expectations, this itself will push my tesla market cap target from $2 trillion to $4 to $5 trillion (autonomous vehicles software is a huge huge huge market).

I have just made 3 reports in the past 3 days

- Cancelling Unifi website took more than 5 seconds to load, and actually confuses you by putting more than 3 steps to cancel

- if you cancel unifi, and submit another ticket, the site will hang forever, thus putting more delay

- If you walk in to give back their router, and stuffs, it takes more than 1 minute to return the equipment after your number is called. i dont know what makcik tu type in after take IC, but it takes FOREVER

I think its time to push Unifi.

Now that the government will be opening the economic sector,

This is my 10th year.
i drink about 3 big bottles (4.5 liter) of no sugar/diet Coke/pepsi per week CONSISTENTLY for 9 years already.

i can confirm (if someone pay me RM2,000, i can also show medical records of blood sugar/etc) that my health unaffected.

This is based on full medical checkup including sonic boom xray thingy (where the doctor wipes ur body with slimy liquid) every 1.5 to 3 years.

This means, my body taken in 2,106 liters of coke zero. with no impact on health.

I believe the "artificial sugar" fad is like "coffee caffeine is bad" fad.
