Question on Astro Fibre

I just realized asterok fibre uses CGNAT on their backend and this messes up port forwarding, DDNS and stuff.

So, I called them and they offered fix ip with add on RM 5. I opt in then call them again to verify they said already in effect. Tapi apa lancau after reboot router and modem ip in router still 10.100.x.x and on whatsmyip the public ip is still changing where got "fixed ip".

Proton Savvy Gearbox

Hi.

Im trying to get my Savvy's manual gearbox replaced sebijik. I told my mechanic to source it for me and he quoted RM 1800 including installation, trans fluid etc.

I'm curious. I saw in Savvy fb group, Mudah and even Shopee the gearbox price range can be as low as RM 500 to RM 2000 ish. Realistically speaking, how much is the reasonable price for a decent manual gearbox for this car?

Problem with TnG NFC reload

Since last Sunday, I'm unable to reload my TnG NFC card via app. I've reinstalled, clear cache, remove and even purchased new card still come out this shitty error when scan for reload or check balance.

After went back from tyre shop for alignment + steering "pulling" fix, after some time driving those lights lit up constantly. Tried on off engine still the same until after a while those lights gone by itself. Was so happy until after I test to on off and drive for a while and bam those light came back. I noticed the TCS light will blink few times then it stays there together with handbrake light.

For context, I saw mechanic play around steering wheel, front tires and undercarriage (he mentioned he has to take off something underneath to fix the pulling issue).

Before anyone say just go back to that place again, the shop from my place is quite a distance and will go back there if there's no other choice. Good news is the misalignment and steering pulling are no more.

Any ideas?

Hi all.

As per subject so let me give you a bit of background.

I went to a local motorsports academy open day recently and they are offering a program to kickstart car racing journey. They have various packages but one that stands out is to buy a Suzuki Swift complete equipped with all the necessities (bucket seat, coilovers and other mods) not to mention unlimited access to their theory classes and mentoring. Basically the car is track ready upon purchase and price quoted includes classes and mentoring. They have a roadmap on how they going to groom their students from absolute beginners to season debut at local circuit to compete in their own championship.

I see this as an opportunity of a lifetime and I thought finally I found what I always wanted since kid. Problem is, I need to pay at least 50% of the total cost to secure my place in the academy and tbh I don't have that kind of cash stash somewhere. I've been thinking non stop since that day on how can I earn that deposit amount before they jack the price next year.

I earn round 120k/year. Married with a kid who's still in kindergarten. Have no long term loan under my name except for my daily. Credit card paid in full every month without fail. Maxing out the card is out of option since I use it for household expenditures.

Really need some sound advice from the community as I can't stop taking my mind off this.

Why Media Prima channels on Astro are not in HD?

Ayam dunno why til today some pipul still belib in burning in headphones like wtf u want to burn in for? If it sounds crap on day 1 either product faulty (so pigi tukar la itu pn mau ajar) or ur choice of headphone really shit. U think maciam burn in networking equipment is it? Even crinicle and other audiophiles alrd explained no such thing as burn in headphones/earphones.

J&T Scam Via SMS Short Code Now?

Received this just now via SMS short code. I know, I know J&T has a lot of scam related cases via SMS/WhatsApp/call but this one really caught me off guard. I clicked the link without hesitation because coincidentally, I'm waiting a parcel from them as well.

The link redirects me to a form asking for personal details and payment of RM 9+ for re-delivery. That's when I feel this is too shady and go inspect the link and voila obvious scam link is obvious.

KUALA LUMPUR: Kecerdasan buatan (AI) bukan milik eksklusif golongan pakar teknologi maklumat dan golongan berpendapatan tinggi semata-mata.

Profesor Kulliyyah Teknologi Maklumat Komunikasi, Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (UIAM), Prof Datuk Mohamad Fauzan Noordin berkata, golongan B40 juga perlu mendapat akses penuh kepada manfaat daripada teknologi-teknologi AI.

“Kecerdasan buatan (AI) ini bukan eksklusif dan dimiliki seseorang; pakar teknologi maklumat atau golongan T20, semata-mata. Sedangkan B40 juga ada hak untuk memiliki teknologi AI ini,” katanya.

I have WH-1000XM4 which I suspect left noise cancelling mic spoiled. How I know? Loud whistling noise randomly appear almost made me OKU. Tried every possible "fixes" out there no different.

How much do u think they'll quote? I called them they only mention RM 40 depo for diagnosis.

Dilemma choosing job offer

Those who know me from my previous PIP post, what I can is it's in the past now.

So currently I have 2 job offers which I'm about to describe below.

Company A
- Private. In MY they quite small but actually part of larger group of companies.
- LO signed recently. Starts around Nov.
- Pay wise, barely reach my expectation
- Senior role. Role I got is what i always wanted. Big potential

Company B
- GLC
- In negotiation phase
- Initial remuneration offer meets expectation but can push a bit
- Senior role. Job scope very relax

I signed with Company A first because offer from Company B came a bit later.

Right now I'm in dilemma. Scared if I back off from Company A will create this sour taste.

Appreciate feedback from yall
