Political views changes with age

Do you agree that young adults tend to prefer socialism, left wing agendas such as government support, more government subsidies, free education & healthcare, tax rich people, & equality.

This is because young people tend to be jobless, and have little to no money.

But as you grow older, you will tend to lean right. Conservative issues like lower tax rates, privatise healthcare and education, less government interference, keep more money in your pockets, share less of the wealth you are creating, etc.

This is because you become richer and more income when older.

Bottom line is, if you have a young population, better to be left wing politician in countries like Norway, sweden, etc.

If your population is older, then better to be conservative politician. Such as singapore, china, America.

Basically, politics is just a scam made to make a few people richer. People all are self centred and only interested in their own agenda.

http://uk.businessinsider.com/what-you-sho...lionaire-2017-9

If you want to be a billionaire, you'd be well served by studying engineering at university and taking a job as a salesperson.

This is according to research from British recruitment agency Aaron Wallis Sales Recruitment, which examined Forbes' list of the 100 richest people in the world to reveal what they studied, their first job, and how rich they became.

The report found that 75 of the world's richest 100 people have a degree, and out of these 75, 22 studied engineering.

Fifty-three of the top 100 also started working in a non-family owned business, with 19% starting in a salesperson role and 17% starting as a stock trader.

Meanwhile, 17% of the world's top 100 billionaires started their careers by setting up their own business.

These were the top five degrees amongst the world's billionaires:

1. Engineering - 22
2. Business - 16
3. Finance & Economics - 11
4. Law - 6
5. Computer Science - 4

And these were their five most common first jobs:

1. Salesperson - 10
2. Stock trader - 9
3. Software developer - 5
4. Engineer - 5
5. Analyst - 4

Rob Scott, managing director at Aaron Wallis Sales Recruitment, said: "Today we are seeing that nearly all of the top people in business are graduates and that a degree can be a great first-step into preparing you for your career ahead."

An engineer calculates KLIA toilets works

So it seems there are some /ktards who don't value engineering works.

I will refute all your claims that the toilets were expensive.. indeed, it was a fair tender price awarded to a company that supplied a great service.

Also, do you think engineers & our work comes cheap? Just remember the world you live in was built entirely by us.

Now, KLIA recently upgraded their toilets. The true name is actually 'Plumbing & Sanitary' Upgrade Works aka 'PnS works'.

The following items fall under PnS category:-
1. Hot & Cold-water pipe.
These pipes are Stainless Steel or Copper material. IF you don't use this material you will choke & be drinking lead.

Common sizes are 15mm - 28mm. Per meter run is RM40.00 to RM80.00. Hot-water pipes require insulation wrapping too, RM4.00 per mtr. I will modestly estimate the amount of cold/hot water pipes in KLIA to be 40km long. This amounts to RM1.6million - RM3.2million. Just purely supply, not inclusive of installation yet. I will come to installation costs later.

2. Sewerage & Drainage System
Unless you want to smell shit & pee as you enter a toilet, you are going to need a sewerage & drainage system. Do you think your feces magically disappears after flushing? That shit goes somewhere.. A modest cost for KLIA refurbishment supply of the ejector pumps, expansion of inspection chambers (includes excavation, cement works, etc) and all the other items for each and every toilet can easily cost RM15,000/each. 131 toilets * RM15,000 = RM2mil..

This also assumes that KLIA did not change the sewerage & waste pipes. They just re-used the ones already dug deep underground.

3. Sanitary Fixtures
So this is where your so-called toilets fall under. The proper name for a toilet is called 'water closet'. You also have wash basins, bidet taps, hose bibs, shower heads, sinks, urinal traps, etc. The average cost per item, RM4,500/ toilet. So, 131 toilets * RM4,500 = RM600,000

4. Ventilation & Fresh Air
Again, unless you want to be smelling shit & pee all day long, you are going to need to pump in fresh air and draw-out the smelly shit. You are looking at air-conditioning, duct works, fresh air pumps & fans. Let's say RM4,000/toilet. 131 toilets * RM4,000 = RM550,000

5.Landscaping & Tiling works
RM5,000/toilet. RM655,000

So, in total for just supplying the materials, your cost is about RM7million already.

Now your labour costs!

For this job, you are going to need plumbers, welders, foreman, scaffold erection, electrical wireman, plasterer, tiler, bricklayer.

Modestly, each worker is going to cost you RM150 per day.

Assume 40 workers working continuously for 8 months. 8months * 22 working days * 40 workers = 7040 man days.
Your labour supply for 8 months is going to cost you RM150 * 7040 man days = RM 1mil.

You are going to exceed that labour cost by at least 15%, so add another RM150,000 to labour cost, total RM1.2mil
Now, add in project management costs.

Like I said, engineers aint cheap. RM60,000.00 per year for a decent project engineer. You will need 5 engineers & 1 project manager. Total cost for project management RM450,000

Design costs: RM450,000

In total, you are looking at RM12mil for the entire supply & install job.

Add in another 12% for your company office overheads. This is your administrative costs, finance, procurement, & HR workers RM1.5mil

Another 12% for renting a site office, man-power mobilisation & material delivery. RM1.5mil

Another 5% for inspection & PE endorsement. RM800,000

Another 3% for tender dept commission RM550,000

In total, the job is going to cost your company 17million Ringgit Malaysia.

As a company needs to survive on profits & margins, I think it is fair to earn at least 50% profit margin. Final tender price: RM34million

Done deal.
