G'day peeps!, im just wondering hows Wacom Bamboo Fun (the pen & touch 9x6 ones) durable its surface?.. easily scratched?..

Initially, i wanted to get Genius ones, because it has a few 'plastic overlays' to protect the surface.

Does Bamboo Fun works when theres somekind of 'plastic overlays' on it?..

I heard someone said it doesnt work on Bamboo Fun but works on Intuos series tho...

Can anyone confirmed that?..

Btw, whats\where the cheapest price for Wacom Bamboo Fun recently?...

G'day peeps!, do anyone knows which GTX470 custom card available locally?..

So far i only saw Galaxy GTX470 using custom cooler.

And i googled thru, and theres Palit and Sparkle having custom card also, but can't seem to find those locally..

Main reason im looking for custom card, due its quieter than reference cards, and im on a quiet rig.

(Fyi, all my cooling its on 120mm quiet fans even my 4870 its ArticCooling modded so its basically noiseless).

Recommendation on shop and best price

Hey there Wii peeps!, im thinking getting Wii soon, any shops to recommend for the best price?..

So far, the lowest prices i saw was the shops in Imbi, which its rm940 - 970 for Wii set, and best of all Wii Black set also same price.

As i noticed most other shops said either Wii Black set its can't be modded or the prices its like above rm1250 due limited edition.. or sumthin like tat...

What u peeps think?.. anyone here bought from Imbi before?..

Its there anything else i shld look for?... btw, Wii controllers, its there any fake ones?... if so, is it easy to identify?..

G'day there peeps!, im thinking getting my very first LCD TV as my old TV its dying (color fading etc.).

Im pretty noob in this LCD TV, what should i look for?.. esp. nowadays theres 60hz, 100hz, and now 600hz?!... its that just marketing trick?..

Btw, my budget its rm3.5k (whats the best value for that budget either LCD or Plasma recommendation its fine, do tell why tho..^^) for 40inch and above (with good stand as im not planning to wall-mount it).

Lastly... juz wondering.. its it a good time to buy?.. (i know.. i know... thats pretty lame question ).

My uncle's typical usage will be... like surfing, some image editing, do quite alot image/files transfer and of course typical ms office works.

Heres i quick glance i think its suitable for him.

1. CPU : AMD Athlon X2 5200 = rm213
2. RAM : Kingston DDR2 PC800 2GB x2 = rm166
3. PSU : Acbel 510w = rm189
4. HDD : WD 500GB SATA2= rm199
5. HDD : Trancend Rugged 2.5 Ext. HDD 500GB = rm434

The mobo i chosen has built-in gfx rite?.. if so, it shld be sufficient for normal use rite?..

I think a AMD rig shld be more than sufficient for his everyday usage, since AMD rig its more to budget minded ppl, and most motherboards comes with built-in gfx.

I heard the push-pins are fine rite?... Xigmatek HDT-S1283 not really that heavy that bends mobo rite?..

What interest me its that i heard the XIGMATEK CROSSBOW S&S KIT improves performance due better contact... but i haven't
seen any reviews stated that its true or not...

So far i have narrowed down into 2 mobos... which are..
1. MSI P35 Neo2-FR
2. MSI P45 Neo3

MSI P35 Neo2-FR its abt rm70bucks cheaper than MSI P45 Neo3.

Heyaz peeps!, im thinking of getting a new budget gaming rig quite soon..

Kinda lost touch on Intel or AMD route... if u peeps could give me both (AMD and Intel) recommendations.. heh

I'll use back my GFXcard: Gigabyte Geforce 8800GT AC modded and PSU: Acbel iPower 510w.

Heres i chosen for Intel setup:-
1. Intel E2160 (rm199)
2. Asus P5K-EPU (rm360) or Gigabyte P35-DS3L (rm330)
3. Kingston HYPER-X PC800 4GB (rm360)

Budget rm900

Its there 2gigs per-stick of rams on local market ah?... and for the proc, how abt getting he cheapest one like E2160 rm199, it can easily o/c to 3Ghz also rite?.. and the performance between o/ced E4600 and E2160 not much difference rite?..

Btw, the stock hsf for the proc, its quiet wan rite?...

So, peeps!, any recommendations or suggestions for the "bang for buck" budget gaming rig?
