Yes , you heard it right , I was just saying the same thing to my friend the other day , I said : " You know what they are prepping the EPL to be transferred overseas , because they are reporting more and more so called ' abusive ' behaviour by the UK fans - ie, Asian fans will be more docile and 100% complaint ( asskissers ) thus we will bring the game over . "
The details are yet to be finalised.

Some points I like you all to think about ?
- Assuming the games in Asia will count towards the title , do you think the games will be competetive ?

- What about match fixing , is there an increased danger , giving some of the venues will be in China ?

- How will it change the game in UK ? Will it further alienate UK fans . On the other hand it will surely create more glamour pndan local fans .

Would this be OK to you ?

- There will be even MORE exposure of the EPL , you will be able to watch football non stop from Fri night to Sun morn - this will further encourage Malaysian youth to be lazy and watch instead of playing the game - thus local footbal will die some more.

Your thoughts.

NB. And yes , local media , advertisers etc - get your own f##king ideas and stop plagerizing me as you have done in past . This is for us not you.

About 2 - 2.5 years ago , a Malaysian Chinese guy called Show showed up on the scene ( Show showed up hahaha ) , and stated he had some part in starting MMA competitons in Europe .

( It is true that they fight regular but on a lower level type thing)

He opened a branch of his school called WuJiChuan in Cheras somewhere .

Vincent Choo of KDT upon seeing this got annoyed as he seemed to think this infringed upon what his place was doing - BJJ.

He then tried to arrange a Challenge fight btwn KDT x WJ , only thing was nobody from the then current batch of KDT people were going to fight Show , not Vincent and not the BJJ coach Sam .
I wonder why ? why not challenge the guy yourself if he pisses you off so much ? why get an uninvolved 3rd party to do your dirty work ? NO guts ? I dunno , dont really care but you decide for yourself .

Just thought you all might like to know since they have been promoted a lot so all the info needs to be presented , yeah ?

I wonder if the local BJJ gang sent anyone to compete in this tournament ?

Since one certain person keeps relentlessly promoting it and if they are genuine they should at least try to compete .

I found no evidence that they were there , but if anyone has contrary evidence I am willing to stand corrected.

Training MMA/MT in THAILAND = WOW.

Just got back from Thailand , where I spent a few days training MMA / MT and it was fanf**kingtastic , that the only way I can describe it.

I was completely dead after the 3 days . I grappled full steam no quarter given untill we were exhausted . The guys were huge matsallehs 6ft + , 190lbs + , I was the 2nd smallest guy there , I was throat barred , slammed on the mat but I hung in there and I got a couple of taps in the end . Ha

The coach's a really good teacher, and a 5x KOTC veteran , and rolling with him was an experience , to say the least .

And then the MT , another gut wrenching exhaustive workout and sparring with a pro MT veteran , well I admit I was scared.

But no regrets , I learned so much and will be back.

HD space vanishing

Hello all experts ,

My HD space has 5 gigs free space after accounting for all usual software - windows etc.

But after downloading several media files like mpg , avi , rar etc .the free space seems to be less like now it is only register as less than 1.5 gigs despite all d/l files deleted except for 1 which is only 100MB.

What is happening , how to get back my free space ?

Are there any reputable boxing gym in PJ area?

Also, in general, are there any differences in punching skills between boxing/kickboxing/muay thai? Other than muay thai having elbow strikes?

Ok. I'm curious to know from amongst the forumers here, if you can take up either boxing, kickboxing and muay thai, what would you choose, hmm?

Yes , there is : Boxing concentrates soley on punching , this is their expertise and punching is the most important striking skill , without that very difficult to build a KB base .

Real Punching is a very scientific , mechanical and quite complex skill , it is not natural . It has to be learnt 1st . It is NOT just swinging your arms about , that is rubbish . There is a lot of internal mechanics .

And let's not forget also : combination punches , very important and not covered half as well in KB and MT . Also there is footwork and body movement .

MT is also good but the punching skills are lacking somewhat because the scoring system gives less points to punches .

MT is not dangerous as some people have said but it is stressful , different thing , anyway most local MT I have seen is pretty crap , go to Thailand for 2 weeks will be better than 10 months locally .

Real danger comes when the TMA try to go full contact , because they don't understand the technique behind imparting power , when they used their non leveraged techs and make contact with the target , they tend to absorb shock rather than give it ( which is what boxing and MT does) .
That's why you see so many injuries in TMA FC training , they injure themselves !

Traditionally KB = US type KB , which used to be boxing punches and TMA type kicks , the boxers used to learn just to defend kicks and they won all the time .

Nowadays , KB tends to mean K1 type thing , where boxing and MT are combined .

Even then some boxers who learnt to throw a few kicks but to defend against them did very well like Mike Bernardo , he has wins over Aerts , crocop , Hug , Smith , Filho .

So the answer depends on what you goals are and what you have available or train with me .

Kickboxing / Sanda tournaments - did you go ?

SO There was a IKF world Kickboxing tournament held in 2001 at Bukit jalil , featuring an international title fight between 2 Americans , the undercard had a couple of locals in it . I quite enjoyed it . Anybody else went , what did you think .

The other one was recently Aug 2006 in Cheras Badminton hall - the world junior Wushu Championships which their version of KB - Sanda .

Not bad , standard was not that high they being juniors and the funny rules . But it was FREE .

Anyone went , what did you think ? Come on there must be some KB fans out there .
