Hi guys, I am relocating from the same apartment to another block. The technician that came for installation said the building is upgrading to fiber cable ...etc they need to lay new fiber cable from the riser room to my unit, and the additional charge that I need to bear is RM300-400. I told the technician that I will stick with the existing copper cable and I don't need the fiber upgrade, then he said they cannot complete my relocation order without laying the new fiber cable. My question:

1)Is this normal? It is like forcing me to pay for the fiber cable "upgrade" which I don't need, my package is only 30mbps, not planning to upgrade for the time being
2)I previously received calls from TM mentioning about the upgrade service which is suppose to be free of charge, but I did not confirm any upgrade
3)After I lodge complain about this, the CS called me and said different things, which is really confusing, from what I understand, upgrade to fiber from same address is FOC, while relocation is chargeable

What should I do? Appreciate any input!
