Hi all, I'm very new to this and am learning my best via reading a few pages.

Let's make a few assumptions:
1. The same wiring (internal inside the wall) is shared across a few lights in my home (4 lights and 1 fan which is constantly turned on. Bulb lights, not LED.).
2. Amp breaker at the fuse box is not a concern.

If I put an induction cooker on the same plug point, turn it on with 1400W on 1 side and 1000W on the other, by any chance the wiring within the wall itself burn ?

The wall socket is 13 amp.

Hi all,

I've read the FAQ on dividend entitlement, ex-date, payment dates etc.

However, one thing which I am unable to find online or through this forums:

Assuming I am looking to purchase stock A, how do I know when's the dividends ex-date, payment dates etc? Basically the main goal is trying to identify if by buying it today, will I still be entitled for the next upcoming dividend or did I miss the boat ?

I'm using iTrade by CIMB and couldn't find anything relevant to this.

Hope some could guide me.

Accessories Shop - Repair Car Seat

Anybody know of accessory shops that fixes car seats? My mazda 6 car seat is wobbly slightly forward and backwards (can be simulated). It's a fix to just take off the seat and tighten some parts (might need to replace a spring washer) and thats about it.

Any recommendations ? and price range would be helpful.

guys.. I'm about to get a second hand mazda 6.. but unable to find much info or feedback with regards to this car.

Would like to know the major problems and known issues associated with this car. What should I be on the lookout for?

Have sometime heard horror stories where spare parts are not available and would need to wait 3-6 months for the parts to arrive as it needs to be imported . Is this really the case ? Or this is ancient news related back to 8 - 9 years ago ?

Can I get some feedback from members here please ?

Hi All,

Might be owning a Mazda 6 (second gen) very soon and I'd like to do some homework / research on where do you guys send your mazda's for repair / service / parts replacements. Hopefully around USJ / PJ / Old Klang Road.

Do not wanna send it back to Bermaz due to several factors such as crappy workmanship and price.
Any particular mechanics / garage / shops that you guys send your cars to ?

Which burns more calories?

Hi All,

I'm not sure which burns more calories for the example below.

Jog for 2km OR walking 2km.

Lets just assume the jog isnt too fast and the walking isnt too slow either. Understandably, jogging will definitely complete the 2km distance faster than walking 2km.

However, this is just a measure to know which one burns more calories? Hope to see some constructive comments.

Lets assume you are working in US and you want to transfer money back to Malaysia. Whats the cheapest method that isn't a hassle? Let's assume its a moderate sum of money (US10k and above).

Western Union charges 4% as service charge and thats too expensive to bear at the moment. Any other comments?

Hi All,

Was wondering whats the fastest way to drain all the energy from your body? Jogging / Swimming / Running etc will drain energy from your body but it isnt draining it completely.

Eg: 30 mins after resting from running, you find that you could still continue doing workout .. Because sub-conciously, during running, your mind tells your body to stop running once you reached the tired stage. I have tried pushing beyond that and I ended up nearly fainting.

Need to know some methods that does not take too much time and is effective. Thanks in advanced.

I'm pretty new to property investment and I have done some basic reading and understanding of it but in the end, I still lack real experience.

I'm looking to purchase a studio as my first property. Is there anything that I should be aware of before proceeding as I could use all the help I can get.

This studio is for rental, not for my own stay and the location IMO is not bad.

As per topic, how good is the SAP market right now in Malaysia? Is it slowly cooling off or still booming? Please note that I am asking from PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION PERSPECTIVE NOT SUPPORT.

How valued is PMP in the current job market and I would also need a little bit of clarification with regards to the pre-requisite to sit for PMP.

In the website it is stated that at least 3500 hours in project management capacity. Does this mean "worked as a Project Manager" for 3500 hours OR worked in project management line for 3500 hours?

Would recommend the Jobs & Careers section title to change to something less misleading. A lot of job providers have been posting in this section.

While occasionally it is okay to just report them, the number of idiots that are incapable of reading LYN's rules and regulations and continue posting job advertisments in Jobs & Careers section is increasing day by day.

Would suggest to either put more enforcers OR change the title.

Hi All,

I'm in the midst of looking to pursue certifications which is deemed as "Value Added" for IT Business Analyst / Consultants (Project based)

From what I have researched, PMP, and Prince2 has high pre-requisites (Eg: Completed 3500 hours in Project Management capacity) and those are more for Project Managers. What about ITIL v3? Is it value added for IT Business Analyst / Consultants? Any other certification that I should look for?

A bit info about me to help get more constructive feedbacks. I'm working as a Business Analyst in a software house. Projects that I am involved is focused on delivering systems with relevance to banking/finance using Java (Websphere).

Feedback is greatly appreciated.
