Sony Vaio Tic tic tic sound

it started about 2 weeks ago. When I on my Sony laptop, the sound tic, tic tic tic would appear. It won't start. Sometime after 10 - 15 minutes it will start and I can use it. Sometime it didn't start at all and the sound continue until battery ran out. What is the problem? Thank you.
