I have a circle of friend where we usually go out to celebrate birthdays. At first it was okay to chip in a little amount of money so we can gather for a present. This tradition going for 3 years until recently, the present they want is more like a luxury stage already. Things like buying an insta camera, getting 2x under armor tshirt, headphone, playstation, expensive watches...and now! one of them want a Laptop! WTH. This weekend they are celebrating another of our close friend birthday....I'm not too sure I wanna go for now....

My bg: 2 years customer service line in electronic industry.

I got an offer from a startup electronic company, 3k+ basic. If I accept the offer, I will be bonded for >6 months.
But I always wanted to work in SG health sectors (my field), applied a few jobs already.Still waiting for interviews.
Should I accept the offer first and wait?? There's a price to pay if I break the bond..

I just bought the 1 TB Seagate slim backup plan for my MAC.
I have installed the Seagae Dashboard but when I launched it I noticed "Error/Message: Connect a Seagate Dashboard enhanced to activate features."

My MAC has already connected to the external hard drive but I was stuck here.

Current MAC version 10.7.5
Safari 6.1.6

What did I missed?Please help me

Giving up life in AUS and move to SG

Hi guys I need your opinion out here.

I have a sister whose studying in Australia and doing intern in Sg. Before her internship, she told she want to work within aviation industry and planning to stay in Australia. But when she's finishing her intern, she told me she want to stay in Sg and work for this company. I asked her why sudden change of thought, she said she thinks she love this company.The problem I was concern is the internship she's doing is MnE company and she studies Aeronautical engineering. After 4 years of study in the aeronautical environment, 2 months internship enough to change her decision to work for this company..

I explained to her don't limit herself for this company, go back to Australia and look for opportunities first. She don't even want to try to apply Australian visa and we had a little quarrel over this topic. She told me Sg needs her (its not like she's an elite fresh graduate). At the end she told me to back off.

What do you think guys? Am I too over-reacted?

Myvi 1.3 back seat cannot open door from inside

Hey guys,

Why does the back door cannot open even I have unlocked the lock from driver's seat…the car is still new.

I can open the door from outside but not from inside of the car.Is it something related to child lock that prevent child simply open the back door?

Pls advise.

how do you deal with office politic?

Office politics are unavoidable sometimes but how do you deal with them? When people are too nice to me, I very much aware of it (because I don't know them well and their true 'colours'). You could say that I am paranoid or something…but in the workforce people aren't who they are by the look of their faces. I don't even know if they are actually collecting informations from me/backstabbing me…So how do you gain your trust to someone at your workplace? At the end of the day, we are still working in the same environment..

2 years contract in sales and marketing (Dilemma)

I went for an interview in a Biotech/Pharma MNC for the position of sales and marketing. The job description looks fine to me as I only deal with order processing, product shipments,prepare invoices..a typical admin work that I am comfortable with.

However it is a 2 years contract position…and with the sentence "and other duties assigned by the company" at the end of the contract makes me think twice..

What happened if the company asked me to do smtg that I don't prefer to do e.g. outdoor sales.

Please kindly advice. Thank you.

Safari can't find the server

Recently my safari doesn't able to view some pages and it kept saying "can't find the server". I have tried to update my Safari this morning (6.1.5) but the problem is remained unsolved. It has given me a big headache because I am trying to complete my assignment before deadline

P/S: I bought my MacBookPro in 2011.
