If i graduate from UMS with a Bachelor degree in Software Engineering when i am 35 years old, will my age become a problem to secure a job?

Entering Public University at 29

I was a science stream student at school and I scored 7A, 4B in my SPM. I scored grade A in English, Physics, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Chemistry, ICT and EST. And my Matriculation CGPA is 3.49. And i got Band 4 in my MUET which will expire on January 2020. However, i will be 29 years old next year.

I have asked UPU if i can use my year 2009 Matriculation certificate to apply for Public University next year, and they said yes i can use it but under Diploma category. I am hoping to enter UMS since i am originally a Sabahan.

So, my questions are....

1) Since I will be 29 years old next year and since i will apply UPU under Diploma category, do you think i have any chances of securing the place in UMS?

2) If i am accepted into public university, what can i expect about the number of senior students which are about the same age as me studying in public university?

3) I think I want to apply for Computer Science as my first choice. Would you recommend me any other course I can apply and why?

4) What can you tell me about the student life in public university typically in UMS?

5) I will enter public university at 29 years old. What do you think about going back to school at 29?

Hello all,

I am going to skip Bachelor Degree using APEL and go directly to do Master degree. But i only have 3 options to choose from.

1) Corporate Master in Business Administration
2) Master of Science in Human Resource Development
3) Master of Science (counselling)

I want to seek each of you reader's advice on which course is good to choose.

I came from Science Stream background. I studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology. So i think learning accounting subjects would be quite difficult for me.

I am 28 years old and i lack the ideas of how to manage my career pathway properly. I am hoping to do PhD soon.

I look forward to any of your favourable reply. I just want to learn more from all people so that i have a broader knowledge of what is best for me.

I need you to tell me which course to choose and what can i do with a Master Degree?

Samsung s7 edge VS iPhone 6s plus

I am using Samsung Note 2 right now, and I have over 60 WhatsApp groups, and my Samsung Note 2 lags and hangs most of the time since I've got so many WhatsApp groups. So I am considering to buy a new smartphone. Which one is better? Samsung S7 Edge or iPhone 6s plus? Which one is better in terms of overall performance? Which one will not lag even if i have over 100 whatsapp groups? Most people say that iPhone 6s plus is better but when I compare it with Samsung s7 edge, ...... Samsung S7 Edge performs better in terms of CPU and RAM.

So which of these 2 smartphone is better in terms of whether or not they will lag when having over 100 whatsapp groups?

iPhone 6s plus or Samsung s7 Edge?

I did something very very stupid recently. I wrote a post on Bill Gate's(founder of Microsoft) official facebook page, seeking for financial assistance, and then my post was replied by unicef organisation. Unicef said that I am selected to receive a donation. So, they requested for my information. I gave them my phone number, my residential address, my CIMB bank account number, Swift code, routing number, and I sent them a picture of my Malaysian Passport and Identification card. All of these are sensitive information. But I did not provided them my PIN number or password. They asked me to make a payment of $400 in order for them to open an online account in the bank of America. Soon, I found out that all of this is a total scam. I've been scammed. I contacted the real Bill Gates & Melinda Foundation, and I also contacted IMF, and I found out from them that this is total scam.

So, regarding the fact that I've provided them with my sensitive information, what should I do? I am afraid that they might hack into my bank and get access to all of my bank accounts and take advantage of it.

Tertiary education when you're 25 years old.

Hello all. Is it too late to start tertiary education when you're 25 years old? ...cause i'm thinking of continuing my study but i feel kind of awkward to start tertiary education especially when im 25 years old. Please discuss.

Medical School drop-out

Hello all, I am a 24 year old Medical School drop-out. I drop out of medic school because of some financial and personal related problems. I did medical school oversea. In the beginning, I actually do not know which course i want to take in my future, so, i just choose the courses randomly. I always thought that becoming a doctor is something big, something i can be proud of, but i was wrong, "doctor is never a grand job, the better doctor knows what humble means". I soon found out that medicine is not for me and so i withdrew from medic school. I do not really know what i want to do in my future, i guess i just want to make some money and have a normal life.

I contacted UPU, asking them if i can use my year 2009 matriculation result to apply for IPTA, and they said 'yes' i can apply. But what about my MUET? Since my MUET result has already expired, do i need to retake the MUET exam before applying for IPTA? someone please help me in this. This is what i'm thinking right now, i want to apply for IPTA using my year 2009 matriculation result with CGPA of merely 3.49. Do u guys think i have any chances of being accepted with my current gpa?

I can actually go and meet the Dean or Vice-Chancellor to appeal directly to them for admission into IPTA but i feel embarrassed to do so, i fear they may not accept me.

So, what do u guys think about my case?
