Netflix new documentary - "Man on the run"

So has anyone watched this new documentary? Very well-produced. Very deep yet sad to see how the 1MDB is used for laundering. Lagi sad to see some of the rakyat dont know anything about 1MDB or Jho Low when they were interviewed.
True that only middle class and the professionals know the colossal damage done by 1MDB.

Got interview with MO1 4 months before he went to jail, Anwar, Syed Saddiq... other celebrities like Leonardo Di Caprio, Miranda Kerr, Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Jamie Foxx all unreachable/declined for interview.

As expected MO1 gave blur/blunt answers to all the questions... in some ways he is partially correct about all the blame and wrongdoings should not just towards him, but the whole system as well. The web of corruption really runs deep with 1MDB, with alot of middle personnel (Goldman Saches, Dubai group, etc), our local Big 4 audit firms, local banks who involved in 1MDB all remain scott free and unaccountable.

I think this documentary should be screened in all schools. lol. Please watch and comment.

Hi folks,

I got a call from a recruiter regarding job vacancies at Rakuten Japan. It's an IT role, but I read on GlassDoors, there are quite a number of ppl complaining about the work life culture there and the effort to be Englishnization is BS. Basically the management culture, and main language is still Japanese. Turnover rate claimed to be high.

It will be good opportunity to stay and work in Japan, but I am just worried about the work life balance over there.

Has anyone worked there before, or heard of anything about this company? It's the biggest e-commerce in Japan, but internally doesn't seem to be globalized, yet.

Hi bros,

I am currently looking for a laptop that has a good screen for media viewing, nice keyboard for typing and decent power for latest gaming. I m also a sucker for good build n design.

I know it is quite demanding, considering I am looking at about RM 3.5k to 4k max.

I been reading alot about Dell Inspiron 15, which is a entry level gaming laptop. Though its screen can be abit dim and keyboard not so good. It is easy to upgrade and the surface is rubberized (not sure if this is good as its a finger magnet).

MSI PE60 is more expensive and has aluminum build, but only on the outer shell. Inside build is abit cheap as they say. The screen is commendable and keyboard is better than the Dell.

I am not a laptop expert, and I am currently using a 6-year old Asus laptop which is already slowing down and hanging frequently. I am thinking to get a new one that I can bring overseas for work (and play too). I will be based overseas for some time.

I m not a fan of Acer and HP.

Any sifus here who have used these laptops or have better worth-your-money options, are very much appreciated.
