strange, for many months now mozilla, and the new safari i just downloaded wont play the music on myspace pages. im talking about the flash player that plays the band's songs....

IE also has the same problem.

anybody got a clue, same problem?

hello people.

i busted my mini hifi receiver lately. dont know what happened. its a basic 5 year old sony cd mini hifi. of the consumer range. nothing fancy.

so obviously, there's nothing left to drive the two speakers, which are have a rated impedance of 8 ohms according to the label.

so here i am, thinking of taking on this cheapo car amplifier of mine and hooking it up to the speakers. obviously it isnt that simple. i do not know the impedance of the amp, except it says 75 watts X 2. i have the following pictures to help you guys assist me.

aside from the impedance matching, how would i supply the power amp, power? what kinda plugs do i need? as this seems to be the most scary/dangerous part, i wld like to ask all of you peoples' advice. and if this whole idea is not at all feasible, then let me know.

my samsung 795 just died today. 3 years old. idk if really is dead or can be brought back alive. i wonder if it was the lightning that struck...

so anyone know where monitors can be repaired? or if it's worth it?

hi all guitar phreaks.

i hv always wanted to make stompboxes of my own. but i have zero knowledge except a bit of soldering skills back at school.

i have yet to make my first one. and diystompboxes should be a good first bet. the beginner's project there.

i think its a very gratifying and satisfying thing to do... post away..we need experts, not beginners like me.

Cheap guitars & Cheap amps

Here we all know, our instruments are expensive. Me being a student. It's worse.

But, we also do know, that 'cheap' guitars, can surprisingly sound and feel good...and can put up a decent fight against their more expensive counterparts.

These guitars, well to me...are gems in the rough. Maybe we could all share ideas about cheap guitars that are well above decent...if possible...very good.

Might try and keep the price range under 800. ( ok ok..i want a cheap 300 dollar guitar that plays like 3000... )
