Im having problem with my iMac specially in wifi connection, nowdays if I tried to ping to the router the latency is so high.... its different from my Windows laptop...
But Im able to connect to internet, but a bit slow.

Just now I see on the advertisement iMac price is around 4200 rite (the lower spec) when I tried to calculate the desktop PC for 4200 I can get the superior PC with 2.6ghz 6mb cache, 2GB Corsair64000 RAM, and 22" Samsung monitor 2ns and the rest is the same.

now i confused....

what is the pros and cons using iMac or Desktop PC ?

V3164AU heat and Wifi Problem

Hi all.

Today I already browse http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/691534 but i didnt found any specific problem same like me.

First i'm using the laptop normally, but the wifi is always on and work as normal, and now after 1 year (mean the warranty expired) the wifi got problem.

The problem is, the wifi sometimes missing from device manager, if this happen while windows run, it will be hang, so I have to shut down and turn on the laptop again, but its sometimes work, sometimes the wifi can be on again or cannot.

I try the switch to on off, seems doesnt mean anything, and I tried to upgrade bios to F22, and now I have more problem, the laptop is easily become heat, I didnt open the monitor, but I can feel on the case, its very hot and not usual.....

I tried to format and reinstall back the windows, and the wifi driver comes up, than I tried to configure and install it from the latest driver, but after I investigate, its seems the wifi cannot switched on after its switch off.

so, when the wifi switched on, i tried to off it by switch the wifi switch to off, and the light become orange, the icon become not available, this is normal, then when i tried to switch back to on,,, omg there is nothing happening after i investigate again, i have to disable the hardware and enable it again from device manager and its works!.

but this still make me pissed off, bcuz after shut down / restart, the wifi sometimes missing sometimes available on device manager......

Is there anybody experiencing the same things ???
and how to fix this things,

I already disassemble by myselfl to look at the hardware, I dont see something weird..... after that i cant restore it back thank god my friends help me out.

Hi, I have some strange bill in my streamix usage, usually I pay my bill 77RM / month, and now suddenly there is "DEBIT ADJUSTMENT" Around 229RM.

So I dont know what is this mean ?? should I pay 300 something this month, its just doesnt make sense...

Is there any u guys happened like this

Hi..

I hope all u guys can help me to troubleshoot this matter...
My laptop Compaq V3164AU used minipcl wifi inside with broadcom chipset...

after long time run ( its almost 2 years ) now the wifi sometime hang, and its missing from hardware --> device manager in system computer, so I need to turn off the laptop first and then turn back on again and it will solve the problem.

but the disaster comes last night when its happen again, my windows cannot detect any hw wifi.... even i shutdown the laptop..

I try to open the minipcl from back of the laptop and i try to smell something burn but its seems okay...

I just curious, if is there any troubleshoot should I do, before I Assume this minipcl has been broken ?

or, is it already broken ?

I hope all you guys can me.....

cuz usualy my boyfrens take care of this things... but now not anymore...

Yesterday I just bought 2 phase water filter from carefour, the brand is pensonic, Im just curious after I plug the water filter into the plumber is it the water can directly be drink by us or still need to cook ?

Is it safe for health, because previously the still got smell on water... even its already filtered.
