No Disk In Drive Problem

A pop up shows up on my screen periodically telling me that theres no disk in my disk drive. Its occurs for no apparent reason and at anytime so I do not think it is related to any action of mine. Its not an internet related problem either...it's just one of those internal Windows pop-up. Does anyone have a solution to this problem??

HELP....ivideocodec (isadon.dll)!

Please could anyone out there help me in getting rid of ivideocodec...it shows up in the form of unwanted pop-ups as well as security alerts telling me that my system is affected and prompting me to download software to clean it up....
I am currently using Mcafee security suite 2007 (8 in 1)...which was only able to pick up this problem after I had battled with it for 2 days.
I also have Spysweeper (had to buy this yesterday) which is also unable to get rid of this bug. I have tried deleting the files in the folder but was only able to get rid of 2 out of 5 of them.
I am not such a techie when it comes to this stuff so PLEASE someone...anyone give me a clear step by step means of getting rid of this problem. I am not sure that I like the idea of buying another antivirus or REFORMATTING my HDD. PLEASE provide some other inexpensive means. THANKS
