i can hear the sound its loading to the windows but no pictures come out..

Sony handycam model DCR-HC38E the prblem is when i plug in the i LINK cable at my
comp and DV at my handycam but the program that use to transferd the video says (please check your i LINK cable)i did not find wat cause the problem is, mybe the cable damage or something else can you guys help me out with this problem

other online game have no problem except F.E.A.R i dont no what the problem is, it slow on loading when joining online server and when done loading it says disconnected from server, at past few days i play F.E.A.R there is no problem at all its loading fast, PLZ help me with this problem
