Hi,

I have some queries about laptop RAM. Currently my laptop have 12GB of ram. it is 8GB + 4GB ram.

If i were to maximize the potential, would it be stable if i

A) just buy another 8GB ram to replace the 4GB,

B) Buy two 8GB ram (same brand and same model number)

I know from HWinfo that both my current RAM (8gb+4gb) have same CL-RCD-RP-RAS, so that is why they are stable, if i mixed an unknown ram with unknown timings would if crash my laptop?

You dont read it wrong. My friend decided to up the capacity requirement from 64GB to 128GB. About the warranty also not that important anymore, but still no underwater set or parallel import set. Definitely no singapore set also. Only Mac City, Machines, Maxis, Digi, Celcom, umobile, Sen Heng, (and something similar, where my friend can go a lot of places to claim warranty). No, your shop that have 3-4 places around KL is NOT that many places.
