help in buying and shipping

Sorry if I'm doing anything wrongly, I just started learning about this forum, I don't know much.

My question is, I'm want to buy something from us, and ship it to Malaysia, but I don't really know the procedures, and how much will it cost me for the shipment (after deducting the price of the good, plus custom tax, if there's any).

Some good can't be bought online from overseas and ship directly to Malaysia. So, I've did some research about it, and I know it's possible to buy from Amazon and eBay and some other sites. But it will require me to create a "fake" address in us and ship it to where to my house, through services such as comgateway, myus, borderlinx and so on.

So, I want to know, is there other easier or cheaper way of buying and shipping from us to my? Which service do you recommend? And finally, normally what is the expected price that is needed to pay for the shipment and tax? I know it's different according to the weight/type/price of good, but what I want to buy is going to cost roughly about usd150++, and is easily less than 2 kg.

Sorry for the lengthy post, and thank you in advance
