WIRELESS BROADBAND ROUTERS Most efficient brand

Seeking advise on which type and brand of multi sim broadband routers should i go for.
My house is a standard 2 storey linked house, I plan to put multi sim routers at ground floor next to the CCTV recorder just below the "L" shape staircase (block by wall) to up stair.

With this design,which types of router and brand shall i go to where the signal can be as good as when i am at up stair ?
I plan to go for either MAXIS / CELCOM / DIGI / Unify Mobile broadband.

Further, will this two types :
1) Home Plug
2) Wifi Extender
Useful in enhancing my signal ?
