Router to replace Archer c5v with VOIP

I have been subscribing to home fibre 300mbps but only realised i have been getting average 30mbps speeds recently when doing speedtest for past 2 weeks. I have called up the service provider and they only upgrade the router firmware which doesn't seem to work and already fed up and need stable and fast line due to more online meetings.

My current router is Archer c5v (provided by service provider). From what i read online it seems i have to upgrade router myself. Any idea which router should i upgrade to? I have a VOIP house phone connected to it so it should have a VOIP port.

Now some buildings self imposing rules to get workers tested for covid19 before entering. Very good push all the burden to contractors. Just recovering from MCO now need to burn pocket again

WAN IP not same in dvrdyns

Hi,

I am trying to do the port forwarding after change of router.

From my dvrdyns and also canyouseeme.org, my WAN IP is 14.X.X.X

When i check from my router, the actual WAN IP is 10.X.X.X although connected to the same wifi. Local cctv ip is 192.168.x.x

When i try to access cctv using the port from 10.X.X.X i can access but can't when i use 14.X.X.X.

How did my WAN IP changed to 14.x.x.x? Trying to figure out how to match my dvrdyns to the actual WAN IP 10.x.x.x

Hi guys i need some help. I need to use the above software in my new laptop and was thinking how you get the correct processor speed because i have seen much more expensive laptops with less Hz.

For example Acer swift 3 specs below:

Processor Type
Ryzen 5

Processor Model
4500U

Processor Speed
2.30 GHz

Processor Core
Hexa-core (6 Core™)

Does that mean this laptop did not fulfil the criteria when running Autocad 2021 based on processor speed?

4th May - Can start work but all foreign worker need covid19 test. Everyone fast fast send foreign worker for covid swab test because all projects delayed and now need to rush. Foreign workers crowded while queuing to test. Before test all ok, after queing up for test, good luck. Have to fork out money for the test.

6th May - Local council rules all worker including malaysian must take covid test. Again have to queue up rush etc.

Can those governing all these SOP make up their mind.

Suspect Fake Transaction Receipt

I had a job to be done quickly which i requested for deposit payment. Then the client shared with me the receipt which i presume was already banked in to my account and didn't actually checked my account. After completing the job and few days later, i realised there was no money banked into my account. Since then i have been given excuses like cheque not go through, bank processing etc.

1) Is is possible for the transaction receipt to indicate successful but money not go into the account?
Just want to know this to at least know if he faked the transaction receipt

2) Would you report to police in this situation?
All the agreements actually in whatsapp conversation and not really sure if anything can be done? I don't also know the full name or ic of the client. And dont want to go through the hassle for nothing.

Replace TM modem by ourselves

I am using maxis fibre with maxis router and tm modem. After lightning strike, the tm modem lights blinking wildly.

Called maxis but few days later they called back say can only come on 1 Apr together with TM to check the problem.

I am pretty sure tm modem is the problem because the led lights are all on and off abnormally. I know it is life time warranty and all but I can't wait that long.

Possible to buy a modem myself to replace? I don't mind if it is less than 200. Need to do any configuration?

Can't Download Yahoo Mail Attachment

I can't download attachments from yahoo mail. When I click download or save to my computer, nothing happens. Tried on google chrome and firefox and on different PC. The only way to download is to forward to my gmail account and download from there.

Hi,

Any suggestion for nice mamak/makan place in PJ to hangout at night? Best if it is in sea park area, or sec 14, 17 area. Best if food is good and not too high class.

So far the mamak i go to the food all lousy. Except for Murni in SS2 but it is too packed and wait too long.

For good,spacious environment, i go to Restoran Al-Meerasa, the one beside Seapark Giant but the service lousy, food also lousy, some more the fork and spoon oily.

Besides that also got go PJ19 food court near the Rothmans roundabout, but getting a bit bored there.

Need to set system clock everytime on pc

Whenever i boot up my pc, it will come out a message that CMOS setting has changed and i need to set back the system clock time.

After i off my pc and turn it back on, i will need to set the time again because it has reset. Any idea what is the problem?

Hi i have a relative asking my help to find him a job:

Currently he has only SPM qualification and he dropped out from college.

The problem is he has very low self confidence, very introvert and don't have any friends. He seldom talk, smile or respond when strangers speak to him.

I really no idea what kind of job he can do because he has problem interacting with people and have low qualification.

He is a nice guy actually and felt lost in life. I really hope can help him get a job and get on with life.

Guys. just need your idea what kind of job i can find for him or any job can recommend for him.

just noticed recently when i focus my eyes at something after 4-5 seconds my left eye will look sideways.

Anyone know what can cause this and how to cure this problem?
