I am planning to use Openbox+CS service for astro.

Problem is my wireless modem router is located upstairs, and I don't want to connect the openbox downstairs with long LAN cables.

I got 3 options suggested to me.

1. To connect the openbox to my modem via Wireless Access Point.
2. To connect the openbox to my modem via Wireless Router.
3. To connect the openbox to my modem via Home Plug.

I am absolutely noob in this wireless thingie, so please advise me on which is the best option, and which device model is the best bet.

Guys, need your help and advice on this issue I'm having with Maxis.

I am a postpaid user, and both my parents and wife are subline users under my account.
My wife subscribed to Maxis 500mb data plan which is RM58 per month since last September 2010.
All this while, she is not quite so active in utilizing this data plan, as she subcribed to it just to purchase the Samsung Galaxy S Android phone.

The problem I am facing now is that, last month, the bill stated that my wife had use 586mb of data for month July.
The exceeding 86mb is charged to my total bill at RM0.05 per 10kb, and that adds up to about RM430++.

I checked from my wife's android phone software (3G watchdog) for monitoring data usage, and it is only 219.53mb.

I called up maxis customer service and even went to the maxis centre to lodge a complaint, but all they can say is wait for the Technical Dept to check and verify this issue.

I wanna ask, anybody experienced such problem as being overcharged by Maxis before?
How do I proof to Maxis that my wife did not used 586mb as stated in the Maxis bill?
My worried is that Maxis insist that my wife had used such amount.
I already downloaded the CSV file of the software.

Please advise me.

Hi guys, my wife currently is 37 weeks pregnant.
She is currently attached with Dr Susanna at Damansara Specialist Hospital.

The doc said she don't need the red card unless she plans to give birth at Gov Hospital.

But today, my friend pointed out another issue if without this red card.
That is when my baby need vacinations.

He said Gov Hospital is cheaper and more reliable.

So is it possible for my wife to obtain this card now? Or is it ok to get the vaccinations done at a Gov Hospital without this red card?

Hi to all,

I have a very serious questions to all profesionals here.

My mother in law was recently admitted to IJN (National Heart Institute).

She underwent an operation to remove a muscle growth from her heart on 8/7/2010.

The operation was successful, initially.

She was later admitted to the ICU for further monitoring.

On 10/7/2010, her heart suddenly stopped and needed to be ''jump started'' (i dono wats the precise term for that), it is same like those scenarios we watch on tv when the patient is in critical state.

Then few days later, the doctor transfered her to General ward, but that night, she needed a ''jump start'' again, and was pushed into ICU again.

That means since the operation till today, 3 weeks period, her heart had stopped 2 times.

Doctors are unable to really accurately tell us what caused her heart to stop.

Now, the question is, the doctors this morning said my mother in law can be discharge and go home.

But both me, my wife and my mother in law herself is unsure if it is really ok to go home.

What if her heart stop again at home, and when me n wife are at work....

What should I do?

Can I get a black and white from IJN to assure us it is ok to bring her home?
Which means we can hold IJN accountable and responsible if anything happens.
Possible?

Hi there:

I would like to ask, if i need to transit at LCCT and catch a connecting flight in one hour, JB-LCCT-PENANG, i don't think i have the time to wait for the luggage.

So i plan to hand carry everything. I would like to ask, does LCCT impose the LAG (liquid, aerosol, gel) ban on domestic flights?

I have read from other topics that we are allow to carry a maximum of 100ml/bottle and max limit is 1Litre provided it is all sealed.

Another thing is, where do i get these plastic seals?

Anyone care to share?

As above, I came across another forumer last year promoting the same thing.

- Cars on sale are dirt cheap than normal market price
- you don't get to see, test drive or check the cars until payment is made and delivered
- payment is in CASH form
- and seller confirms that everything are LEGAL with PAPERS

The only thing different from this seller with the previous forumer is that, there is a forumer who posted a testimonial stating he bought a BMW from seller.

Another question, if we are really to pay in cash, what are the options to get that much cash? personal loan? or car loan is applicable also?

I am planning to get a house in BU2 area.

So i would like to know about the following:

1. Is there any public bus service at that area? if yes, what time is the easliest shuttle to Kelana Jaya LRT station?

2. Where is the nearest bus stand to BU 2 area?

3 How is the traffic condition during early morning if I were to drive to the Kelana Jaya LRT station?
I must board the train by 7.45am.

I hope some of u who is staying around that area can help me out in this as it will affect my decision to buy or not to buy.

Just want to complaint and let all sellers out there know.

This w_arifsh or wan mohd arif shafiq contacted me to purchase a set of rockford component set last few weeks ago.
I wasn't in KL at the moment and he didn't state that he was from LYN where-by we can deal via postage.
Since he insisted on COD, I source for another seller in mudah.com.my named Gary to do the COD for me since he stated in mudah that he is selling the same item as mine.

RM100 was paid by Arif as deposit for the item to prevent FFK.

The COD went on as normal with Gary and Arif meeting up and dealing.

After bout a week, Arif came back to me saying that he had installed the speakers and he thinks that the sound is not satisfying.
The second SMS he sent suddenly accused me for selling him FAKE.

I told him to ask Gary since he was the one responsible for the deal and I only earned RM50 for introducing them to each other for the deal.

Somehow their negotiation turned sour and Arif pleaded to me for help.

Gary didn't answer my call at the time I called.

Arif blamed me for introducing him to Gary and said I should be responsible.

So since I earned RM50 from him, and now that he was not happy, I refunded RM50 to him last night.
He was happy and even thank me for being so honest.

To my horror, today he SMSed me again asking for another RM150. He said Gary refused to refund him and I should bear the cost.
(By now, Arif found out that Gary was selling the component at RM220 with nickname hypersound in LYN)

So he said logically, Gary should have also sold me RM220.
The problem is I got his contact number from mudah.com.my and he was selling RM350, and me selling RM370 to Ariff. I negotiated and got a deal at RM320. I didn't even know who this Gary is at first.

Now the dispute here is:

1. Arif and Gary met up and he was very satisfied with the items. He did the examining before happily paying off the rest of the amount and saying bye bye! How can he come back after a week saying that item sold to him was fake?

2. We both, Gary and me, asked him, how he claimed the item was a fake, his answer was because he not satisfied with the sound quality. Rockford should be bombastic!

3. With no proof, how can he claim the item was fake?

4. All my previous buyers never made any complaints before. All of them are happy with the items provided at reasonably lower price than market.

So, those having the patience to read till here, am I at fault? After even refunding him the money.

still not sure about the deposit of RM1500 for booking and if not satisfied, can get full refund.
