Buying a BMW from Premium Selection

Hi all

I am in the processing of buying a BMW from BWM Premium Selection (Sime Darby).

the model i interested with is BMW G20 330i 2019.

upon inspecting the car and also test drive, i notice some scratches on the door (a bit deep), cracked windscreen, faded/discoloration grill, some stain on the steering.

quite surprise to see all this car that is so called "premium selection".

also, when i said that i will hire third party to do the thorough checking, only then sales person mention the car has been accident before, and they replace the front bumper.

so when i said i want to cancel, he suggest to change different car, same model but different car.

1. anyone had experience dealing with Sime Darby Premium Selection before?
2. should i proceed or not?
3. I welcome any advise from all if you have anything to say about this particular model.

Question about Free phone by Maxis

Hello

So i received a call from Maxis, telling me that they want to give a free phone due for being good paymaster bla bla. and the catch is i cant terminate my contract for 24 months.

the phone is midrange Samsung M12 (if i remember correctly).

I was thinking to just give it to my mother, however she is under celcom.

my question, can this free phone be use with celcom sim card? does anyone have experience with it?

Lawyer ask to sign SPA extension date

Hi. Hope anyone can advise me on this

I sign SPA on 22nd October last year and completion will take 3+1 months.

However last week lawyer (who representing purchasor) ask me to sign a letter to extend the completion date saying that the bank actually want that letter.

It is just a simple letter where it gives them extension of completion date.

Lawyer also said should i didnt sign it they unable to release the balance.

Is this normal practice and if i happen to sign it, it means any delay i will not be able to claim for any interest right?

Hello guys.

Im about to sell off my terrace house in simpang ampat penang. Buyer already paid booking fee to the agent and now proceeding with loan application

1. Asking price is RM700K. However what will happen if valuer value the price lower?
2. Agent ask me to produce the geran. However i dont have the copy. What should i do?
3. Since im a malay, last time i bought it at 5% discount. Does that mean my house is bumi lot and can only be sell of to malay only? The buyer is chinese.

Best External Hard disk for Samsung Smart TV

Hi guys, hope i ask in the right section

My question is which external hard dick is best for use on smart tv? FYI, i am referring to watching downloaded movies/videos on my samsung smart tv.

I have to external hard disk that is WD element 1TB, and buffalo PNTU3 1TB. based on my experience, WD element tend to be a bit slow and the video played on the tv seems to be "buffering". Compare to buffalo on the other hand all smooth sailing with no buffering whatsoever.

I went to pc depot to look for buffalo external hard disk and they went out of stock. The only option they have is WD element, passport ultra and seagate backup plus.

Can anyone share experience which external hard disk perform best on smart tv? Thanks.
