BGF Counselling Unit (BGFCU) and Kuala Lumpur Buddhist Mental Health Association (KL BMHA) warmly invites children, teenagers and parents for this joint program on making the next step "Career Planning Workshop" at BGF Ara Damansara. Grab the opportunity to learned from skillful trainers and qualified teachers who will share freely on how to choose a career and plan for it.

The trainers are made up of a team of 6 qualified counselor experienced in working with adolescents and a veteran Dhamma speaker with vast experience in social work and counseling.

22nd BGF COUNSELLING COURSE

BGF Counseling Unit ( BGFCU ) will be organizing the 22nd Edition of the Counseling Course starting from 12th October 2014. This course is designed to help you in enhancing self understanding, coping with stress in daily life, improving interpersonal communication and gaining a general understanding about mental health issues. It also serves as the foundation for those who wish to volunteer as BGFCU telephone counselling helper. This programme consists of:

Level 1 (7 weeks) & Level 2 (11 weeks); spanning over 7 months

Date: Every Sunday, Beginning 12 October 2014
Time: 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm
Venue: BGF Centre Ara Damansara [ D-G-2, Block D, Jalan PJU 1A/46, Taipan 1, Ara Damansara, 47301 Petaling Jaya Selangor.]

Token fees:
Level 1 = RM 200.00
Level 2 = RM 250.00.
Level 1 & 2 = RM 380.00

BGFCU runs an active training programme on counselling conducted by professional trainers since 1992 and currently providing free telephone counselling service in the evening. Every year, each set of attendees have found the 1-day counselling workshop to be informative, stimulating and very enjoyable.

It is still a great bargain costing only RM 50 for adults and RM 30 for students which covers the workshop, inclusive of lunch and 2 teabreaks. It is FOC for Sangha members.
