I need the casing more urgently than the watercooler. Changing to a smaller radiator kit to fit into the casing.
Personal experience with the cooler:
Background:
My cpu is an AMD FX 8350 eight core which is known to be a hot cpu.
I am using Cooler Master Seidon 120XL cpu cooler before this. Under heavy load the cpu temp is around 52 Degree C.
After installing XSPC water cooler without the fan spinning (passive mode with only pump running. Highly not recommended. Just for experiment purpose) it recorded 59 Degree C.
After running the fans, the temp drop to 42 Degree C in a non-air-conditioned room.
Conclusion:
The XSPC RayStorm D5 RX360 V3 WaterCooling Kit is easy to fix, quiet and massively efficient. I also like the fact that there are 5 adjustable speeds (FYI, I only ran on lowest speed to get the above temp). I would recommend changing the supplied fan to fans with higher static pressure because it is a high performance radiator. You might even get away with running 2 fans to reduce the fan noise if the fans have enough static pressure and if your system is in an air-conditioned room.
