Getting 4Mbps package installed

Hi, I am getting my 4Mbps package installed tomorrow. (Fastest is 4mbps, had really high hope for my area to be under the coverage of fibre. FML.) I was browsing thru the v1 to v6 of this thread and was overwhelmed with the amount of info I came across.

This is my first time getting wifi set up in my house (was using mobile broadband previously

Can I know what are the things (technical) that I should be aware of eg. necessary settings on the router, public or private ip, tmnet's proxy server, basically the things I should ask the installer to do and things that I should do so that I can get the speed for which I am paying for?

And, should I really change the router? Does it really suck?

Hi guys, I am newbie here Can I get to know in detail (if possible) the comparison between JPA and Petronas scholarship? (for the year 2014) I have been offered the Petronas scholarship to pursue my degree in Petroleum Engineering (that's my aim). And today I checked the JPA website and got to know that I have been offered the JPA scholarship to do Engineering at Germany too... Can i get a piece of your minds regarding this matter? I am in dilemma for now Thank you
