how to split house ownership

Hi all,

Newbie here.
I bought a house and joint name with my ex-gf.
Need advice from you guys:

I would like to take the full ownership of the house
1. How should I compensate her? Assume she has 50% share.
2. How much is the cost to do the name transfer?
3. What is the procedure to do that?

Much criticism of the regulatory framework of the financial system has been raised recently due to the financial crisis which had affected many banks. arguably, it fail to maintain market confident, promote public understanding of financial system and protect consumer.

eg. the lack of comprehensive analysis of the risks has shown that risks mitigation has been overlooked by supervisory team. lack of robust valuation and prompt disclosure of that valuation, investors are unable to understand, assess and compare the risks and issues with other firms.
failed to have proper ongoing supervision . This was clearly lower than the standard to be expected from supervisory team for a high impact firm .

Should the existing financial regulatory framework be replaced by a new framework?
Market confident does not entail a policy of preventing all failure but minimize the impact of failures and provide mechanisms to protect consumers . Thus, the financial sector must be free to innovate?

or enhance the existing system is more than enough?
It may not appropriate to create an entire new framework for the time being. Creating a new framework without improving the quality of stuff and the quality of work is impossible to achieve the intended outcomes. Furthermore, public may totally lost their confidence due to the unstable rule and principles if framework changing frequently.

For your information, i'm helping my fren to look for the
public opinion about loan default for university coursework.

When borrow loan from bank, debtor is not able to pay back the loan then creditor
will apply to court to order the sale of debtor house.

law always give priority to creditor..

family member like spouse, children therefore unprotected

For your opinion, why court support creditor?
For example, debtor already signed the contract no point to argue.
Any precious idea other than tat??

Or court should support the family of debtor. Why?

help!!my pc encounter lag when playing mo siang on9 game.
I'm using C2D T5500,1GB RAM...then 128mb graphic
the graphic memory used is about 60mb when i running the game...

Wireless cannot be started!

As i follow microsoft support....
i try to start the wireless through wireless zero configuration.
when i press start...the error msg pop-up said tat

Error2 : The system cannot find the file specified.

Y there is a file call SQM file that locate in my C: drive ?
Each time i delete it, it will appears again when i turn on my laptop.
It is hiddened file, is it a virus or spyware??

Help!Windows cant shut down!

Normally when clicking shut down button...the windows will turn to blue screen n write 'windows is shutting down'

But mine just stuck at there...no changes even though i wait for about 20mins

I'm using windows profesional sp2.
