Upgrade from Streamyx 1mbps to Unifi VIP

Hi guys!

I am currently using Streamyx 1mbps RM110 package.

And I decided to "upgrade" to Unifi VIP5.

My household is a landed property and is covered by Unifi services.

My Problem is, once I take up the unifi package, I was told that I will be given another new telephone number, and this new number will be connected to the optic and I will get the free local call services from it.

At the same time, my original home telephone line will still be continued, but since it is not under the streamyx package anymore, this original number will charge a monthly fee of (I dont know how much, probably ~RM30)

So MAYBE at the end I will ended up having the new unifi telephone number with free call, and the old original home phone number, meaning I ended up paying VIP5 + original phone fee monthly.

Is there anyway that my current telephone number can be "transferred" to become the Unifi phone number?
So I will have ONE phone number which is the ORIGINAL one under Unifi package?

Thanks in advance for you guys' help!!!

(I had posted this thread in the getting broadband section, however I found that this user 2 user section is better...more people surfing and so.)

Streamyx VS Unifi

Hi guys!

I am currently a streamyx 1mbps RM110 user.
thinking about upgrading...

Streamyx 4mbps is RM140

adding RM9,

I get Unifi 5mbps at Rm149.

adding rm11,

I get streamyx 8mbps at Rm160.

In other words, if I choose RM140 i get 4mbps, If I top up rm20, i get 8mbps!

Then why ppl still use Unifi 5mbps at RM149??

I know Unifi is fibre and streamyx is copper, other than the disconnection of streamyx during thunder, what is so good about Unifi?
(by the way I dont really need the HyppTV)

Thanks!!!!

780ti Dilemma

Hi guys. I am in a 780ti dilemma.

I am staying in JB. In order to search and shop for pc hardware component, I went to danga city mall. (KL is a little too far)

I went to one of the pc shop for opinion, one particular boss of the shop told me that he sold more than ninety GTX 780, but had only sold four GTX 780Ti,
two of them are ASUS DCU II OC GTX 780Ti, one is gigabyte 780ti windforce, another one is MSI 3g gaming.

Both ASUS 780ti came back for RMA because it shows blue screen when attempting to use the software for OC.
The Gigabyte also RMA. It guaranteed go into blue screen when running for about 6 hr of more.

Only the MSI not yet RMA.

This is what I know.

By the way the Asus 780ti actually had quite "low" clock speed, it is not the TOP version.
while gigabtye was known to have some blue screen issue.

The MSI 3g gaming also known for the fan leaking lubricant and coil whine. (newegg review tells me)

So that is why I am looking to buy EVGA 780ti dual classified, directly from Amazon.

Guys, any suggestion? I am not a high end video card user before this. and Now I am looking to get a 780ti.
Please comment on your opinion, u guys may had used gigabyte, msi, asus, zotac, palit, saphhire....

Please help. thanks!
