Need help on Samsung Note 5

Hi,

My wife phone Samsung Note 5 got touch sensor problem cause by raindrop due to got leak from the rooftop. The raindrop hit the lcd (quite a lot regarding to her) around 10-15 minutes before she realized it. The phone are fine except the touch sensor cannot be use anymore. no problem on the camera, fingerprint, sound, s pen, calling, etc..the display also got no problem..still sharp and clear as before..no color change..only touch sensor seem dead as when apply show touches it didnt show any touch input...currently using s pen to make the phone function..so, sifu2..based on this statement..do i need to change whole lcd or just the digitizer?..or do i still need to send it to shop to further check it?...can suggest which shop to repair it?..around cheras or batu pahat/muar?..

can quote the price to repair this phone?..because i ask around and said to change lcd will cost around 800++ while digitizer is much cheaper..

if the lcd broken should i still repair the phone or just buy new phone around that price (rm800-rm1000)
any good smartphone around that that match the performance of this samsung note 5? (camera, battery life etc2)

sorry for poor english

Thanks sifu2 sekalian
