Should I get honor 8 now

Hi guys, so now DD is having the raya promotion and honor 8 got a rm 100 rebate. Just want to know is it worth it to get it now?

I known the honor 9 and honor 8 pro might be around the corner, but will the honor 8 price get affected immediately after the launch of new phone? Even if the price is lower, will it drop more then the promotion price?

Currently I'm using ZenFone 2, it shows a sign that the phone might be dying soon. Phone is turn off even I still have around 15% battery.

Lenovo Laptop Repair Screen

Hi Guys,

My Lenovo Z50 is having a problem, the screen is having these vertical lines everywhere (1 Think line at the LefftSide, 2 At the center).
My laptop screw also got problem, it has worn off, means the screwdriver cannot get a good grip on it and cannot open the back panel.
I have tried one shop near my University, but they say the screw is too damaged to be removed..

I would like to ask:

1) how much to replace a laptop screen? Or to fix this problem
2) Any recommended shops in Digital Mall PJ? Good reputation one. The one that can solve both of my problems (Open the screw and replace laptop)
3) At the same time i also want to service my laptop (Change thermal paste, clear dust)

Problem with External Monitor

Hi all Sifu,

I'm currently having a problem with my laptop external monitor.

My laptop is a Lenovo Z50 i5 Model, every time I connect my external monitor through VGA, the external monitor is blinking nonstop.
The external monitor screen stays for a few second, maybe less, then it turns black and displays the screen again. And it will happen nonstop until I unplug the VGA cable

Although my laptop have an HDMI connector, but when I try with a [laptop]HDMI to DVA[Monitor] cable (i only have this HDMI cable), the external screen will not show anything.

I'm a student that need to use this laptop for the presentation and this problem worries me. I have tried the following method to try to fix it:

-Update my driver, not working.
-tried on other monitor and even TV, the same problem occurs. I tried with different wire

Shall I get an HDMI to VGA converter, but I also not sure is my HDMI port working....
Sifus please give advice, thank you.
