KUALA LUMPUR: Kementerian Kesihatan (KKM) menafikan berlaku peningkatan kes COVID-19 akibat strain virus baharu sehingga ramai pesakit mendapat jangkitan paru-paru dan memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.

Selain itu, KKM turut menegaskan tiada kejadian wad penuh bagi kemasukan pesakit COVID-19 sebagaimana didakwa.

Dakwaan itu sama sekali tidak benar kerana ketika ini, kadar kemasukan pesakit COVID-19 ke wad hanya sekitar dua hingga tiga peratus," katanya dalam satu kenyataan, hari ini.

Baru-baru ini, tular dalam aplikasi WhatsApp berhubung dakwaan penularan COVID-19 semakin meningkat sejak tiga minggu lalu akibat strain virus baharu sehingga menyebabkan 'seorang daripada setiap enam hingga tujuh pesakit' mendapat jangkitan paru-paru dan memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.

Justeru, KKM menasihati orang ramai supaya jangan mudah mempercayai dakwaan ditularkan dalam media sosial menerusi mesej berantai yang tidak diketahui sumber kesahihannya.

Orang ramai boleh merujuk portal KKMNOW di data.moh.gov.my untuk status semasa kes COVID-19 berhubung penjelasan situasi terkini.

Do a survey…most established dog training school with decent rating in google normally charge rm200 - rm400 per session. new trainers or less experienced one could be less than rm200 but definitely no less than rm100. each session last around 1-2 hours at their client place.

take average of one trainer have two clients each days and they charge rm200 per session = rm400 per day

Take and give. Assume they only work 20 days a month since some times they don’t have clients.

So their total income is around rm200 * 2 clients per day * 20 days = rm8000 per month excluded the expenses

Quite a decent income from this simple calculation. As long as they receive consistent clients orders.

The number of patients with depression in Korea has increased by more than 30 percent over the past five years, exceeding the milestone of 1 million for 2022, data showed Tuesday.

According to data that Rep. Nam In-soon of the main opposition Democratic Party of Korea and the Health and Welfare Committee received from the National Health Insurance Service, the number of patients treated for depression has increased every year since 2018. From 752,976 in 2018, there were 799,011 in 2019, 832,378 in 2020 and 915,298 in 2021. In 2022, the number exceeded 1 million for the first time, recording 1,000,744 -- an increase of 32.9 percent from 2018.

In terms of gender, the number of women treated for depression in 2022 was 674,555, more than double the number of male patients, which was 326,189.

By age in 2022, the largest number of patients were in their 20s at 185,942 (18.6 percent), followed by 160,108 patients in their 30s, 143,090 in their 60s, 142,086 in their 40s, 126,453 in their 50s and 181,904 over 70.

Considering both gender and age, the group most vulnerable to depression was women in their 20s, with 121,534 patients in 2022, or 12.1 percent of the total. This group also saw the steepest increase in depression patients in five years, showing a 110.65 percent increase compared to 2018.

Rep. Nam urged that improving awareness about depression should be accelerated, stressing that early treatment is crucial.

SINGAPORE – There were 11,732 new Covid-19 infections on Tuesday, more than doubling from the 4,719 new local cases the day before.

The spike, while largely driven by the XBB variant, another Omicron subvariant, is seeing low severe cases, said the Ministry of Health (MOH).

MOH is also initiating Pofma (Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation Act) action against rumours circulating via WhatsApp that Singapore is having a rapid and large increase in cases with severe illness and deaths due to the circulating XBB strain.

While the post-weekend spike today is driven by the XBB strain, MOH said that “the number of severe cases has remained relatively low. This is very likely due to the resilience built up through vaccination and previous waves of infection”.

The large majority of patients continue to report mild symptoms such as sore throat or slight fever, especially if they have been vaccinated, MOH added.

There were 11 intensive care unit (ICU) cases and 50 who need oxygen supplementation – a figure MOH said is “just slightly higher than the level observed in the past few months”.

In comparison, at the peak of the previous Delta wave, 171 were warded and 308 needed oxygen supplementation, while during the height of the Omicron wave, 54 were warded in ICU) and 242 needed oxygen supplementation.
