Linux system engineer/admin job

I've recently found myself liking linux a lot by running a ubuntu desktop, and am considering study it and then start an beginner level job. After that, I do a research on the job market of linux sysadmin, but the result amazed me. it showed quite few jobs are availaible. Here I would like to ask, is linux job market in malaysia already dead?

My 3 years degree is like only half way finish, now I plan on to transfer my credits to a online learning college/uni simply because I want to work while studying due to several family financial's issues. I would like to know when applying for a job, with my 2nd year unfinished degree being mentioned, will I be treated like a diploma holder or the employer will ignore all the courses I've studied simply because I not yet finish my degree.

As we know, the common jobs nowaday normally will mention things like this:
Candidate must possess at lease a Diploma, Bachelor's degree, blah blah blah or equivalent.

My meaning is that, will my 2nd year unfinished degree be treated as same level as a diploma holder or not. I am so struggle in my situation now, I hope people here can give me some information and advice, thank you. T,T hu hu hu
