House Moving in JB

Hi about to move house in JB, and looking for removal firm to take on the move.

Anyone moved recently - How did you move? and who did you use? and more to the point did they look after your goods in transit.

Any advice of moving firms, lorry rentals in JB.

I done the google searches but hard to know which ones can trust to do good job..

Recommendation on contractor in JB

Hello to all friendly bro and sis.

I need some kind advice on my renovation quotation whether it is current fair market price. I have tried to break it down to per foot run (pfr) or per square foot (psf) wherever possible. I have tried to search the forum and found some ad-hoc info posted by fellow members in various threads. I hope your kind assistance here will start to help to compile a list of fair market price for the renovation works.

Kitchen
I have a wet and dry kitchen.
a) For dry kitchen, it includes 8 ft top hung plywood cabinet, 7ft bottom plywood cabinet and 7 ft solid surface top. Total price quoted RM5K.

b) For wet kitchen, it is 10 ft concrete top with bottom doors. Top hung cabinet 10 ft cabinet ply wood. Cost RM5.6K.

What is the normal per foot run cost? Are the prices above fair?

Polycarb Roof
Is $28 per square foot reasonable?

Plaster
Normal plastered quoted RM3.5 psf. L-Box at RM 13 psf.

Grille
I have not gotten quote on this. How is solid wrought iron charged? Saw one post stated about Rm 18 to Rm 20 psf.

TV Console
Tv console 8ft and doing up a feature wall 8ft costs RM5500. Sounds expensive?

Wardrobe
RM550 pfr of length using plywood. Is this fair?

Bathroom cabinet
Bathroom cabinet about Rm350 pfr. Is it ok?

Electrical work
lighting point Rm55 each
fan point RM85 each
powerpoint RM 85 each
Tv point 150 each

Bricks and cement work
RM16 psf. Fair?

Bedroom Doors
Do you all change the doors given by developer? What advice of the type of door if you change?

Aircon piping etc
What works need to be done? i know need to install copper piping, what else? any cost reference?
