I bought a brand new Sony Xperia M2 on 3rd May 2014 and its speaker is broken after just 5 days! Sony Malaysia authorised dealer in Penang, MOBILE STAR COMMUNICATION SDN BHD refused to do 1:1 exchange and wants me to send it for repair which will take 3 weeks (according to their authorised service center, SEMS in Pragin Mall).

This is not a minor software glitch nor a small dead pixel issue which can be ignore, my brand new Sony Xperia M2 has no sound so how should I receive calls and enjoy the multimedia features? I felt cheated buying a unreliable Sony phone which cannot be used as a phone after 5 days and Sony Authorized Dealer do not care. They are only interested to sell and they believe it is reasonable to ask a customer who bought a phone for 5 days to send it in for 3 weeks of repair.

I bought and used a brand new Sony phone for 5 days and now I am forced to send it out for 3 weeks of repair just because Sony Malaysia sells unreliable product and has poor customer service.

What will other potential customer of Sony Mobile, Sony Malaysia and Sony Xperia M2 think when they know this is how they are going to be treated after they spend their money on Sony's unreliable product for just after 5 days?

I have mailed to Sony support about my case and posted on their facebook. I hope they understand that I only want a reasonable solution and they have the power to fix this before it ended up in the Small Claim Tribunal and Consumer Association of Penang.

Hi forumers, I am writing to share my disappointing experience as a Llumar car tint consumer. What I wrote here are my first hand experience. Please use them to decide if this product is worth your money.

I tinted my car in 2011 in Penang with Llumar worth 2.3k and part of the tint started to chip and melt apart. As a result, I called Llumar Malaysia distributor in KL, Tint Auto, to arrange for warranty claim. The reason I called HQ instead of going back to the original shop in Penang is because that shop has closed down. I am counting on the HQ to made an arrangement for the claim.

Long story short, Mr Stivan attended to me on 04-June and promise to make arrangement after I send him all the document and details. I did that and waited for 3 weeks. Until today, they have not call or email me. Instead, I have to constantly email and call him to which he just ask me to wait.

This is supposedly a premium film with 10 years warranty but their after sales service leave a bad taste in my mouth. I strongly encourage every one to take your money elsewhere, to any other brand that know what good service is.

I will be writing to newspaper, consumer association and the small claim tribunal soon.

FC increase after spark plug change

Hi guys,

I serviced my car about 3 weeks back and I only changed

1. Black oil (change back to same type)
2. Oil Filter
3. Spark Plug (the basic RM30 4 pieces NGK)

nothing else ie changed or tweak, I am very sure as I was there supervising it.

This is my first time changing my spark plug, I never change it before since 2 years ago.

Anyway, after this change I notice a dramatic increase in fuel consumption. I use to be able to do about >430KM with full tank 45L. Now I can only do about ~330KM. I have refilled the tank for 3 times and confirmed the increase of FC. I am seriously confuse because there is no way a new spark plug can increase fuel consumption, right?

One friend of my suggest that possibly the spark plug i changed, some of them might be faulty or not connect properly. How can I tell if this is indeed the case? if I go back to the shop, they might deny everything if I can't prove that the spark plug has issue.

please advise.
